Funny game you got there :D Enjoyed it. Graphics were a bit inconsistent though?

Interesting idea. I like the frog sprite/animation, the bugs, and jumping from pad to pad mechanic. I would like to see some kind of mechanic/consequence regarding the frog's stomach filling up because atm it doesn't seem to have any impact on gameplay. I experienced an issue with lily pad's getting caught in a jam slightly offscreen which halted the majority of the flow of bugs. Good concept to build on!

Thanks for playing the game.
@the-shadermaster we had 3 different artists who had different styles and the pixel artist left.
@balance686 i am glad you like the animation ^_^

You should refine this game as it has some very interesting mechanics. Currently there is no point to jump on lily pads as you can just stand on water. I think it would be much more interesting if you had to stay on lily pads, maybe the more bugs in frog's stomach the faster the lily pads sink (frog gets heavier). And fix the getting stuck bug. Overall a great game. I really loved the art and sounds.

Cool idea, as lomikstik says you have a few things to add to make it fit the theme, as there is currently no end to your game and no challenge forcing you to move. I think your idea diserves some more love ;-)

Hey, that was a nice idea :)
The music and ambientation of the game while the frog kept jumping after the insects was relaxing~
Unfortunately, sometimes the leaves stoped appearing, i guess they got stuck into each other at the left of the screen... hmm
And is there like a game over or a win condition? :)
I really liked it, thanks it was fun!

I really liked the frog control mechanics. Would be nice though to have a brief tutorial though, I couldn't tell if there was any difference between eating a beetle and a lady bug. Great Idea and use of the theme!

Every sprite you have there looks great, it's just that they don't fit together at all. Otherwise you've got some interesting base mechanics, it just needs some fleshing out to make a great game.

Good concept! It's apparent that the game wasn't finished, but it has potential and was a really chill and relaxing experience.

It took me a while to figure out how I was accidentally jumping since you provide no controls, but once I figured it out it was pretty neat! The entry would have been dramatically improved with a lose condition, both for going out of the edge and for falling in the water. As it was the latter defeated the purpose of your lovely lily pad system since I could hop onto the water, and whilst it was satisfying eating bugs there was no actual point or challenge to it anymore.

As others have said, all your art is lovely, but stylistically inconsistent. Lily pads are 8 bit, the bugs are kinda 16 bit, the water is a blurry stretched texture and the frog is an adorable cartoon. The audio, though, was great. Loved the music and the little nom sound.

Would be interested to see this finished, well done!

Jump animation is amazing - really well done. I like the main gameplay. It could be more interesting to fit graphics each others. Overall you did a great entry. Bravo ++

It's an OK game, but it is bugged (pun intended). There is no fail condition and if the leaves stutter on the left side and block the way, I think that there is a huge amount of bugs that spawn off the screen and the sound becomes unbearable. I don't understand why you would need to hold and release to jump, seems like a weird choice to me. Yes, inconsistent art. Kind of weird that it took five people to develop this, but OK. Oh hey, it has a nice and relaxing soundtrack. Good luck!

Nice game. The music is nice and give the game a nice mood. However, the game itself had some problems for me. I don't know it is intended that I stand on the water or not because it seems that I can. And if it is intended to stand on water, why is there lily pads? is it so that bugs can eat it? Also, Pressing on the full stomach doesn't seem to do any effect (or I didn't notice any effect to say the least) except remove the bugs in it. The lily pads and the bugs keeps getting stuck on the left side then burst out after they have accumulated. The problem is that I don't know how much of what I mentioned is intentional or not and I also don't know if there is a winning or losing state. However, the game is still fun as it currently is and it made me feel relaxed. Good job.

The jump is pretty good. Its kind of weird that the frog can jump over water though. I thought the frog can only jump on lily pads and he falls down if he does not jump correct.
Its a good try though. Did have fun eating the bugs :)
