This was awesome! I have no complaints

This is a really cool interpretation of the theme. I also like the neat graphics style. I would, however, recommend adding some kind of win condition or way to advance.

Looks nice, I'm with @manan would be nice to se a level progression, but a part of that, no complaints :)

Very simple and fun, classic "heist" (in this case, anti-heist) game. More money, more problems indeed!

**Pros:** Simple, pretty graphics. Gameplay was fun and engaging.

**Cons:** A little bit too easy. No sounds at all.

Consider adding some suspenseful music and/or sound. As others said before, try messing around with level progression. Very solid game overall, I like it.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

@capitanliteral @manan @amastryukov Yeah, level progression would definitely have been a good idea. To be honest it didn't even occur to us. It would have been reasonably easy to implement as well. Good point!

@amastryukov Unfortunately we didn't have time for music or sounds, but maybe we should have made it a higher priority. Next time around we'll definitely try to add some sound effect and music to our game.

Great game. Seems like there were a few building that you didn't have time to implemented. Are you planning on keeping it going? Some sound and I could definitely get stuck playing this game for awhile

Interesting game. I think it's really fun.

But it's also a bit random. If the Banks are located at the border the game is a lot easier, for example. Also i seem to be getting money from 1 store only if there are 2 stores next to each other.

Very interesting game.I like the idea that stop for bringing. More time, more danger, especially if the building spawn at the edge of the map.

The level design is a bit simplified, and seems like still some buildings have more functions to enhance gameplay.

Really fun. It feels like pacman. Sometimes it's so satisfying to out run and escape the bad guys... Great design. Good job, loved it.

A pity you didn't have time for some music. Straightforwards mechanics and fun to play.Congrats!

My best is 968$ ! The gameplay is simple but original to play and challenging even if a little easy. I would like if the car when it pass the border of the screen could teleport on the other border like in pacman. The game is fun to play, good job !

Man you made a Pacman clone that totally don't look like Pacman... And I loved it! *-*
The mechanics are solid, and the graphics remind me of some Windows 3.1-era games, which I like a lot :)

Great idea, it's one of the best entry I played so far. Congrats <3

PS: The "more money = more problems" message made me laugh, so it's a 5/5 on humor for you. It's free.

Nice. Reminds me of pacman and police quest.

Would be cool to be able to stop the car. At level start a hint to where the bank is would help out (the stores are easier to spot due to the green bar overlays).
Sfx could help out knowing when one ended carrying all store money and draining the money to the bank (while keeping other cars away).

Great effort.
Kudos for plain JS :)

We had a lot of fun paying off the cops with the stores' money. I think we became the problem, the more money we had, the worse we were as humans.

## Pros

- Simple controls
- Easy mechanic to understand
- Aesthic was nice
- Difficulty progression felt right

## Cons

- Graphics were repetive, so easy to get lost sometimes
- Getting stuck in a corner felt really bad during a good run
- Wish it had SFX/Music

This was a fun game. More people need to see it.

Nice entry! I felt I was playing pacman again :D I sometimes kinda got stuck to the corners but it wasn't that bad. Its lacking on music and sounds but this is a ludum dare game so it's not that big of a deal :D good job!

The only con I can see here is a lack of sound. Well, also the maps could be more varied. But overall really fun game!

Awesome game! I find it very fun, I whish it had sfx & music and also that the car would wrap to the other side.

One of the most fun games I played so far, keep it up!

I was a bit confused by being pursued and robbed when I had no money on the truck, but once I accepted that, this was a fun game. Some sound would add a lot though.

Hi! :)
I like your game. The mehanic is pretty simple, obvious and addictive. It plays good, very meditative. My personal highscore is 1500$. One suggestion: please, make a resolution larger and it will make the playing more comfortable.

The game was fun, and the mechanic of banks+stores was well done. I wish the map wrapped around; I died when I got stuck in a corner. Good controls, too.

Great gameplay! The car goes a bit fast so it take me some time to get used to it, but once I was ready I really enjoyed the game.

Simple and easy to understand, and yet it was very fun and made me want to keep going. My suggestion would be that rather then simply increasing numbers, perhaps more can be done with mixing up gameplay as you progress. More stuff like the cop mechanic would be great and perhaps the map switching up as you go, maybe draining a store makes it go out of business so a new one will pop up and keep you on your toes.

Fast paced, with a lot of small risk/reward situations.
Graphics are a bit on the smaller side. And music/sfx are missing.

That said I could see this becoming an arcade hit in the early 80-ties.

This reminds me of an old game on newgrounds where you ran around setting cars and mailboxes and things on fire while trying to avoid police.. With wrap-around it would have been easier, but maybe it would have been too easy with wrap-around? Who knows, quite interesting!

+1 for the earlier suggestions larger resolution and somee nice music, would be quite easy to get lost in with some background music!

Nice work! :D

Hey I played this on stream last night, had fun playing the game! :yum:

I loved the fact you could do a quick one two and grab the money from the store and quickly deposit it into the banks or hire coppers to do in your pursuers.

I said on stream that it really should have played like packman where I could go from one side of the map to the other side (very far left going in = very far right coming out etc and vice versa), it wasn't very fun getting caught in the corner (although maybe that's intentional for difficulty)

Something I would add to make the game even more fun would be some road works going on that would stall the player and make them do detours (might even add to the difficulty with wrap around) - makes the player think "where should I go from A to B"

As I said loved the cops, the passive black robbers and red active pursuing robbers - It's really well planned out and great fun to play :yum:

Cheers for your work! It was a pleasure to play

Need some music. Hope we can't get stuck in a road in a future version, if we can go to the beginning of the screen if we go out of the screen (like PacMan). Fun Game and well made graphics

That was a lot of fun. Felt like Pac-Man (in a really good way) to me. Was initially worried that the game objects were too small, but in practice I liked it. Thanks for the good tiem :D

Overall the gameplay feels really solid and the level design (placement of stores, banks and police stations) also were a lot of fun :)
Adding sounds and a bgm would have made it nicer (even though the author opted out of the category), as well as some sense of progression, like others have pointed out, but it plays fine and it is fun to just give it a go. Thanks for this, I had fun!

That's a fun game ! It would have been better with some music and sound to enhance the mood and the stress :). If you don't have time to do it in LudumDare, you can use sites like https://pernyblom.github.io/abundant-music/index.html . This site generate a music and with some practice you can quickly generate a music that's fit to your game.
