**Cons:** A little bit too easy. No sounds at all.
Consider adding some suspenseful music and/or sound. As others said before, try messing around with level progression. Very solid game overall, I like it.
@capitanliteral @manan @amastryukov Yeah, level progression would definitely have been a good idea. To be honest it didn't even occur to us. It would have been reasonably easy to implement as well. Good point!
@amastryukov Unfortunately we didn't have time for music or sounds, but maybe we should have made it a higher priority. Next time around we'll definitely try to add some sound effect and music to our game.
But it's also a bit random. If the Banks are located at the border the game is a lot easier, for example. Also i seem to be getting money from 1 store only if there are 2 stores next to each other.
The level design is a bit simplified, and seems like still some buildings have more functions to enhance gameplay.

The mechanics are solid, and the graphics remind me of some Windows 3.1-era games, which I like a lot :)
Great idea, it's one of the best entry I played so far. Congrats <3
PS: The "more money = more problems" message made me laugh, so it's a 5/5 on humor for you. It's free.
Would be cool to be able to stop the car. At level start a hint to where the bank is would help out (the stores are easier to spot due to the green bar overlays).
Sfx could help out knowing when one ended carrying all store money and draining the money to the bank (while keeping other cars away).
Great effort.
Kudos for plain JS :)
## Pros
- Simple controls
- Easy mechanic to understand
- Aesthic was nice
- Difficulty progression felt right
## Cons
- Graphics were repetive, so easy to get lost sometimes
- Getting stuck in a corner felt really bad during a good run
- Wish it had SFX/Music
This was a fun game. More people need to see it.
One of the most fun games I played so far, keep it up!
I like your game. The mehanic is pretty simple, obvious and addictive. It plays good, very meditative. My personal highscore is 1500$. One suggestion: please, make a resolution larger and it will make the playing more comfortable.
Graphics are a bit on the smaller side. And music/sfx are missing.
That said I could see this becoming an arcade hit in the early 80-ties.
+1 for the earlier suggestions larger resolution and somee nice music, would be quite easy to get lost in with some background music!
Nice work! :D
I loved the fact you could do a quick one two and grab the money from the store and quickly deposit it into the banks or hire coppers to do in your pursuers.
I said on stream that it really should have played like packman where I could go from one side of the map to the other side (very far left going in = very far right coming out etc and vice versa), it wasn't very fun getting caught in the corner (although maybe that's intentional for difficulty)
Something I would add to make the game even more fun would be some road works going on that would stall the player and make them do detours (might even add to the difficulty with wrap around) - makes the player think "where should I go from A to B"
As I said loved the cops, the passive black robbers and red active pursuing robbers - It's really well planned out and great fun to play :yum:
Cheers for your work! It was a pleasure to play
Adding sounds and a bgm would have made it nicer (even though the author opted out of the category), as well as some sense of progression, like others have pointed out, but it plays fine and it is fun to just give it a go. Thanks for this, I had fun!
