Have you ever find yourself in a situation where zombies are attacking you from 4 sides and you have to defend your poor camp? If not, this is a great opportunity for you! Kill those savage creatures and collect your bounty. Upgrade buildings in your camp and survive all incoming waves of enemies. Don't forget to reload your weapon and heal yourself! This game is a combination of top view base defense and FPS shooter games. I hope you'll like it and leave feedback down below!
Quick update routine: Added crosshair to FPS mode and Locked the cursor. Thank you for suggestions!

Please do one thing in your update routine:
- Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.Locked => when in FPS
- Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.None => when in TopView
Otherwise it is hard to play. :sob:
@gemberkoekje you have to move away from the camp to switch to FPS mode.
Quite interesting idea, well executed how the controls smoothly animate from top-down to first-person perspective. Adds a nice new level of strategy to the game (walking to the side, to get to first-person view and see farther).
As for what to improve, I think the graphics would work better if they were more consistent. You used 3D models with high detail on the weapon and the zombies, but the tent and the trees outside the camp were more in a low-poly style. Having all those be done in the same style would surely improve the overall look for your next project!
- The zombies are too detailed compared to the other objects, they look out of place in comparison
- Getting attacked really needs some sort of feedback, either a sound effect or something like a red flashing screen, first playthrough I did without noticing that I was being attacked
- Some zombies liked to get stuck in the ammo-building
- Personally I feel like it would have been better to switch between top down/fist person view with a keybind; when I spotted zombies at the other side of the tent in top down view I had to walk further then really necessary to be able to shoot them accurately
- As a plus-point, the rectangle that others asked for earlier was added, which helped with aiming
Overall good idea, maybe not perfect, but still well done :D
What I loved
* Ran smooth
* Custom engine gets extra stars!!
* 2 really incompatible genres, but I loved what you tried to do with them!
My Thoughts
* graphics need to be a little more consistent, I loved the zombies, but the rest were a bit too much on the low poly side. Having them all in 1 style would definitly increase the overal feel, vibe & atmosphere of the game.
* Bit confusing at first glance
* Control scheme was a bit weird
* Like someone else had stated, crosshair would be nice!
* Fell through the map once after switching to fps mode.
I’d love for you to review my submission as well.

Great work!
It could use more weapons and grenades. Or turrets. But of course - not everything is possible over the weekend.
Keep up the good work.
It's an unusual concept, but I couldn't figure out what made it switch between top-down and first-person mode. Is it just on a timer?
Last comment, I think switching tank controls for a more traditional WASD would work better.
Feedback time!
What I like:
I like swapping between the two camera modes, even though I sticked to the top down one most of the time. It's simple and straight forward.
What I don't like:
Bullets are spawning kinda distant of what you'd expect of a gun.
Enemies come in line, so you barely have to aim at all.
I didnt know what to upgrade because I had no idea what each of the stations were for.
