As others, I liked the graphics, UI & story\/humor. The only thing I thought of as slightly negative was the navigation. While it's fun to fly around in space, it is quite easy to get lost or \"misplace\" a planet you had in mind. To go around this i flew away quite a bit and so could click on any planet from afar but still continue seeing them, but alas, my plan didn't work since clicking on a planet teleports you to it :( Other than that - impressive effort for such a short period of time!!","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"novodantis","author_uid":"1001502","time":"2018-08-23T18:32:07Z","epoch":1535049127,"modified":1535049127,"text":"Thanks all!\n\n@reax Haha, but now you don't have anywhere to go between! Except maybe... neighbouring jurisdictions, but of course that is completely out of the question. You'd need a new form, for starters.\n\n@justinmullin Glad you liked the look and feel! I know what you mean about the gameplay though, I think. There's much to do in terms of balance and making the whole thing more comprehensible. Right now its hard to get a sense of the overall strategic situation and, as @erikiene points out, you can indeed get lost pretty easily. I did plan several features to mitigate that. One was a gradual \"lerping\" of the camera when selecting a planet (rather than instant teleport, which can be disorientating). I also wanted to have a horizontal grid from which all the planets would have lines drawn out of, with name tags and income shown without selecting. I think this sort of reference point would help make it a little less overwhelming!\n","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"goffmog","author_uid":"1002017","time":"2018-08-23T19:47:33Z","epoch":1535053653,"modified":1535053679,"text":"I feel the improbability of this game appearing in an LD42 about space, was less than infinite...
