Click to Sacrifice by rhewid
Click your soul back!
In this clicker game you have a pact with the devil. To recive your soul back, you have to sacrifice items to the devil and if you have earned enough money, you can buy yourself out.
You manage your income by farming and upgrading allows you to improve your productivity.
---
How to play:
Click on the tiles to get the ressource.
Click on the devil to make the requested sacrifice - you earn money by doing so.
Spend money for upgrades or buy some animals - YOU WILL NEED THOSE!

This is my second entry in a Ludum Dare event. This time I created a clicker game. Sadly I ran out of time and missed to implement a winning condition... sooooo it's an endless clicker.
You are welcome to leave any sorts of ratings and comments. If you find bugs, let me know and I'll try to fix them.
Update
There were some bugs in the original version, so fixed them, you can still find the original version here but I recommend the bugfixed version.
No new content was added in the bugfix version
Bugfixes:
- The player would sometimes need to sacrifice an item that he had no access to.
- At the Game Over screen, if clicked on the devil, the player would return to the normal game instead of restarting the game.
- Removed a button that would confuse the player, because there was no functionality behind it - because time issues :P
- Adjusted Production colors because it was confusing to the player.

It felt that I didn't need to click that much, or work very much towards a goal.
Other than that: good job for making this game in 48h!

Pros:
+ I loved the art (the devil looks hot af)
+ Really like the idea of having to "sell" or sacrifice certain items to gain money and purchase upgrades
+ Very satisfying!
Cons, but more than "Bad things" they are interesting tips to upgrade your games:
+ The More Money upgrade seems to not charge money when purchase
+ Why add a sub-menu to the Prod buttons if there is only one option, I would recommend to instead make that when you click on the "Prod" if starts producing ingots
+ Making a seconds counter instead of that large number decreasing at speed light while producing an ingot (the same for sacrifice countdown, but with minute:second clock since it goes up to 60 secs)
+ Adding some sounds, you can use [bfxr](https://www.bfxr.net/), its free, quick and it would add a lot of feedback to the game, hooking players even more time
Ended with 843 sacrifices.
Not sure what "Extra Drop: 1802" for the money upgrade means, also it was free. Same with the production upgrade, it didn't cost money (at least the later upgrades I bought).
Hooked me for quite some time though (-;
The mood is so cool!
very nice job ;p
