Here are some recommendations. Make you project more presentable, with screenshots and maybe a WebGL link. This makes it easier for others to play. Also, the actual game files were a bit hidden within the download folder, maybe have multiple downloads or provide instructions for running the game.\n\nThe graphics were actually very good, with clear effort put into the environment, characters and animations. The actual gameplay however felt a bit bare. The was also a lot of render order conflicts, wherein the logical order is not followed (for example the grass renderers in front of the player). Small details like this can make a big difference to the overall quality of a project. Also consider the game's integration with the theme. Even though you do 'sacrifice' humans, a sacrifice usually imposes negative effects. As far as I can tell, there is no logical reason to save the humans other than ethics. \n\nOverall though, the game has certain potential, and extra investment into mechanics such as the combat system would improve the quality of your game. Further props to you for creating all of those sprites within the 48 hour window.
