Shoot And Wait by Alexander Borisov

[raw]
made by Alexander Borisov for LD 41 (COMPO)

Screenshot_9.png

Unique dynamic (no) Turn-based First Person Shooter. Try to kill all robots in the level and not die.

Controls: WASD - moving Mouse - rotation Left Mouse Button - shoot Space - skip (end) turn

3 Difficulty (Hard difficult is really tough).

Hint: Try to end your turn behind obstacles to avoid a lot of hits into you.

Tools: Unity, SFXR, Qubicle

P.S. If game window lost focus I recommend you fullscreen mode (My bad, I hadn't experience with browser games).

Great fun game. This is a quiet smart mechanism that i enjoyed a lot. Shame that my mouse lost focus when moving out of the game area. You get good votes from me !

I enjoyed playing to your game :)

Unfortunately one robot got me and I died in shame :sob:
I think the focus on the mouse is the main issue with the game because a false mouvement can cost you a lot.

Your game is quite funny to play anyway

A word of advice : Don't forget to rate other games so that yours become visible to be rated.

@amour-du-pain @Roidz Thank you for feedbacks and advice! Focus is a big problem. I tried to build webgl version to make rating and playing my game more comfortable but didn't take into account problems with cursor and focus. I'll do my best on next LD :-)

P.S. You can use fullscreen mode to avoid the most problems with focus

Great idea!
It really interesting - integration turn-based strategy in 3D-shooter.
Thank you, good job!

Really interesting game. Reminiscent of Superhot and Frozen Synapse! Super hard, though. Wish there were a dash or overwatch action! I guess that's good, though. I want more!
