I never thought smashing tetris block with each other would be so fun xD, i mean REALLY. Even if its just a beta or some experimental project it's still very entertaining to play. You could polish this and make a really good game! ( I'm not saying it's bad okay? :3 )

Ps: I didn't got even 1 line -Professional Tetris player xD

This is good, this is the spirit of the jam! great mashup!

Great potential, will also say it could be polished into something great. Game is too hard though, and honestly I think its very fitting. But I feel for enjoyment/progression purposes, A "block" counter might have been a better performance measure. It seems like a better(more realistic) objective to "survive long" then to complete lines.

PS: I managed to get 1 line -Non Tetris player

@joh hehe, yeah as the developer of course I've played the game way more than anyone else and I know exactly how it works, so I probably misjudged how hard it is. A "blocks" counter would have been a great idea and I'm tempted to add it, but I want to be judged on the game I put out so I'll leave it as it is now. Thanks for the feedback!

It's a shame to hear you didn't have much time to work on it, because I think there's some real promise in here. The 'cars' handle surprisingly well (this is coming from someone who made a full-fledged racing game!) and the core gameplay is pretty solid. But I think the placing of the blocks could be improved; I personally didn't like how they kind of snapped into place, regardless of what angle I drove into it at. I think if the block rotation was entirely determined by you drifting into place, it would feel more natural (but probably a pain in the butt to program...)

Interesting concept. Feels odd that you can't rotate by steering and that you have to explicitly rotate the piece. I drove at an angle expecting it work. Would make from some cool drift's into position

@niterich @captainpilot I definitely think drifting in to produce a sideways placement would feel cool too; didn't have time enough for that to reach the top of my to-do list sadly

ooh this is a super cool concept! it would be neat if the rotation came from actually turning instead of a button spinning it, also it doesnt really become difficult ever, it would be cool if the driving was automatic, and got faster as you progressed. otherwise the idea is nice and well made
