Wow, that was unexpected. How did you guys manage to do a great movie in such a short time ? The writing is amazing, the direction-models-animations are perfect, the voiceover is glorious and we can only imagine one of you trapped in a closet with a microphone for the whole 72h.

HOLY CRAP I LOVE THIS GAME

Jesus, there's so much I can say.
The graphics are just great, nothing that special but really solid. The animations for walking are really derpy though ;). The sound is also solid, nothing quite special to comment on.

BUT THE STORYLINE! The storyline is amazing, the voices of the ants (especially the secretary) are great, and their "Mother" is quite amazing xD. I was actually quite disappointed when the story took such an abrupt stop (though still a funny one, I'm guessing due to time constraints) due to the evident potential of the game being a fully fledged story.

Combat mechanics are a bit wonky, and the "You Suck" screen is a major cockblock when the gun is so accessible, and the world is quite easy to glitch through

Nonetheless, this game is still one of my favorites of this jam, and I really hope to see it expanded on in the future.

Man I love ants, and I love games about ants so I was really excited to see this game, and it did not disappoint. Actually it is so impressive what you've managed to make in such a short amount of time. It's a great little story with laugh out loud humour.

It seemed like there was a lot more of the background story fleshed out, I hope you continue to work on this as I'd love to find out more.

I guess the combat was a bit simple, and the environments looked a little bear. But it was more then enough to deliver the storyline and I think that's what mattered most. It's definitely the most humorous game I've played so far. Well done!

Am I losing my mind or is Mother secretly Nicolas Cage?
The game is fantastic as it is, but considering it's a jam game it's just jaw-droppingly good. The visuals are super-slick. The writing hilarious and witty. There's definitely some thought put into the camerawork in the cutscenes. The pacing is just superb. And despite shooting being a relatively minor gameplay element, that last firefight felt so damn cool. Oh, and the voice acting!!! This is insanely good. The world needs you to make a full commercial release out of this.

It's impressive how long and is this game and how many details have. There are some things to polish but you have some full-game material here to develop, congratulations!

Wow, one of the best entry of this Ludum! Graphics is so cool, humor is best, the dialogues and the dubbing... man, gorgeus! Really fantastic job! Maybe some music would be cool too! Good job guys! :)

The game is quite funny and the graphics are nice. I wish there was more to the story (the game ended abruptly) and/or a more developed investigation system, but it's a nice entry nonetheless.

I killed the captain... twice.

Awesome!! The game is absolutely hilarious and the art looks very finished. I played it through more than once to show it off to my friends.

Great stuff! You made me laugh out loud a few times, starting with the moustache on the captain and then several more times throughout. Good work voicing all the characters. We did the same in our game but we didn't have half the dialogue, you did well getting it all done in time and of a decent quality.

Graphics were pretty good though his left hand was really ugly if the camera got too close so I've docked you points for that (just kidding!). I liked the shooting too, basic but felt good and I like the rag doll effect, it reminded me of the old Hitman games.

Excellent work overall. Could easily see this as an episodic series with a bit more depth.

That's great narration! The game is linear but in a good way, and it didn't take much time for me to get into the flow of the events/story. I'm a little bit tired of the noir setting and characters, but your twist made it feel more than bearable. Of course the good dialogue helped a lot, as well as the little details and world-building you put here and there! I enjoyed the experience, although short and limited. I would love to see a game like this came out in the future!

Cool game. All the models were in action poses though, which was funny in the office in particular.

This is a rather fantastic example of how great worldbuilding doesn't have to take itself seriously. The length and character in this was hugely impressive for a games jam. This really isn't the kind of idea I'd expect to be able to pull off in so short a time, but you guys did so with style! I'm looking forward to seeing more of this one =)

A very entertaining game and story, I like how you were able to even voice-act all characters under the 72 hours. The gameplay has maybe a little bit of clunkyness to it, but it didn't really distract much. A very impressive feat, well done!

So, I finally got my computer and played this.
I liked it a lot! A pity it was so short... but with the time we got I guess it couldn't be much longer ;(
The entrance to Ant-Aid factory really caught my attention, the light was awesome on that fence!
When Kowalski enters open spaces I got the feeling there's too much room, too few objects, but meh he's an ant so I think that kinda makes sense.
Also the voice acting was just perfect <3
One of my highest rated games so far in this LD.
Congratulations to the team! And thank you a lot for not forcing us to start it over if a non-villain was shot :p

Pretty good! Had me laugh out lout a couple times, even when I could see the gag coming. Man, do I feel sorry for your modelers trying to get all this done under the deadline! Somebody had too much fun with the analysis machine in the hatchery :wink" Also really liked the posters on Anti-Ant.

Oh, I did push my luck just to see if it was possible to be killed (there was no hit reaction on the player) and was kinda surprised I died. Not sure if this is appropriate for what should fall under the (no disrespect intended) 'Walking Simulator' genre. No biggie, just an odd choice for your game's style. I guess I should poke the issue of the broken fingers on the player's idle, but I'm not gonna.

Kudos on pulling this thing off! I had a fun time!

Nice game, for the amount of time you had I'm pretty impressed with the assets you created, very well done. I also enjoyed the voice acting, also well done. The game felt a little bit confining with the forced small scenes and unskippable dialog, but the scenes were well done and the dialog was nice the first time through.

Also it was nice to see an unreal engine game that didn't run like turds on my computer.

Please make this longer and put it up somewhere so that I can buy it. This is some top-notch dialog, humor and voice acting you got here. I really really liked all the characters. Great Job!! (But seriously. Please make more)
