Hell of space by framg
Hello all!
We are a team of 4 members. This is our first time in Ludum Dare. Enjoy the game :)
Game description:
In the game you are a demon who is running out of space in hell. So your mission is to feed the monsters trapped there until they explode so you can have more empty cells. Each monster eat something different (you can find a guide below) but if you make a mistake feeding a monster, the monster will die without exploding occupying a cell forever.
To feed a monster first you have to click and select him. Then, drag and drop the food from the top on it. To remove the focus click again on him.

The art is great too ! It seems to me that level design could be improved to have a growing difficulty, the beginning is already quite hard since you don't get many monsters that have associations with the food you get. And the food disapears really fast sometimes !
Appart from this, GG !!
Check our game Shblow !
We are planning tu upload the build to the play store for android and we will take into account your suggestion! Also, we plan to improve the game feel after some events.
We are planning to fix this for our latest version (to be updated to play store)
Try our game too, maybe you'll like it)
and the voldemord was very funny xD
I would however add move food slot or change the way food is generated. In the beginning I had food for monsters I did not have, but no food for the monsters present.
Good entry, keep it up.
Maybe the pacing could've been worked a bit more, but other than that, good job!
- **Graphics** are pretty solid. Most of the drawings are quite impressive too.
- **Background music** fits the game perfectly.
- **UI** design is *really* nice.
### What could be improved
- **Difficulty** as someone who sucks incredibly at memory everything was way too fast for me. I barely feeded one or two creatures completely after 3 tries.
- **Enemy placement** could be more centered, it's incredibly easy to miss a creature on the sides of the screen.
- (Nitpicky) the **overlay** to restart could use some sound effect when it appears.
Some more ideas:
I would reduce the slots where enemies could spawn and center them more aswell as introduce some kind of progression to ease the player into learning the game.
It's a very interesting idea, it has a lot of elements from memory. Solid entry!
