Defeat them with microwaves, toast and various kitchen appliances in this tower-defense style game.
Can you reach wave 25?

Controls:

  • Resize with "M"
  • Restart the game with "R"

Left Mouse Button: - Drag Units to buy them - Rotate Units

Right Mouse Button: - Pan around the board - Click on units to sell them for half price

I love this game. Great music, nice graphics... but :

* it gets repetitive after 10 waves
* some waves dont give enough money
* you can't move a unit once you placed it

But knowing that this was made in 72 hours it's a 10/10  (well maybe the theme is not really correct hmmm)

Lovely game! I found myself a bit addicted to it, which I didn't at all expect! Was a bit confused at how the game adhered to the theme (unless you were just referring to the waves of enemies getting worse). Fantastic job overall though!

I really like the graphics and the theme! The speed up key is a very useful feature. I think the gameplay would be more interesting if it was more difficult, I played until wave 15 but didn't lose any health.

It's a decent tower defense game. I feel that the fact that tower placement wasn't grid based was also innovative, it did make placing towers in tighter places a tad bit finicky. Nice game overall. I appreciate the memes also.

Very well done tower defense for a game made in 72 hours! Wished there was a grid or being able to move units so space don't get wasted uselessely! Good job though!

Nice gameplay
and a bug, (I lost some towers by putting them in places I can not even sell, out of sight)

Very cool! Don't typically play tower defense games but this one was simple enough for me to enjoy! The visuals are very slick and clean, and the set-up christmas-y music is nice and relaxing. Good work on this!

Neat little tower defense game. There's one glitch where if you hold down left click when creating a tower and press right click it crashes the game.

Great example of a tower defense, and using the appliances were awesome towers. Very good visuals, for such a low resolution.

Very fun, My only complaint is that the game runs at a very tiny resolution, not giving a lot of space for gameplay

I thought this was really difficult, until I read the instructions properly and realised that the speed up key only affected the enemies and not my appliances! After that, and once I got to about level 10, it was a bit too easy - pretty much all of the enemies were dead by the bottom of the first loop. I got to level 26 without losing any health at all. But balancing aside (who has time for that in a game jam!), it was really enjoyable! The idea of fending off bugs with kitchen appliances is particularly good! And I'm really impressed at how small the download was.
