I definitely heard that melodramatic track at the end once or twice, fun concept! Nice to see the sacrifice aspect being taken literally. My only caveat is that once you lose it didn't go back to some kind of title screen for a replay I had to close out and go back in. Graphics are rock solid on this one....

Quite a simple game :P the clang sound is a bit loud and jarring.

Since I'm kinda beat deaf, I didn't really hear any melody (since my inputs were pretty random). I think you give way too much margin for error for the player, especially for a single input rhythm game. I think you can get away with making the game A LOT harder.

The art and sounds are very well done. I'd like if the game had different beat styles though, and if it got faster quicker. The mood and theme are all quite literal, and very solid.

Nice art, sounds are a bit jarring for a music game. Keep up the good work.

@samuel-lee I am sorry about that. I couldn't get in a prompt I was happy with in time. I actually DID include a reset feature it's just not apparent. If you press R at the game over screen, it resets the game.

I wish there would be a little bit more variance in the beat. (Maybe a different song altogether?)
Otherwise a nice entry!

@deltanutmeg @toast-toaster @walterp @sadsmile @dancinoman @samuel-lee @loadsofmana I really appreciate the comments. The artist is awesome. You should check him out. From your comments, I feel it might be astute to add a TODO list for people. There were a lot of things I'd love to add to it but just didn't have to time to spare.

The art was great, and I could see what you were aiming for, but the gameplay was a little lacking. I think the mood worked well though, with the changing sun!
