Sachristmas !

Game
Each year, during chrismas night, Santa claus travels the world to give children what they wished. But it is not an easy job and sometimes Santa can't fulfil everybody's wishes. Making sacrifices while trying to bring joy to most is at the heart of Santa's job.
Gameplay
You have two minutes to collect presents and put them in the houses of the village. You can only carry one present at a time and once you dropped it off, you can not retrieve it. You also cannot drop a present once you have it. Read carefully what the children wrote on their letters. Good luck !

Don't really get how it fits the theme though, also found the gameplay not that interesting.
It was really fun to spoil some kids and be unfair to some others :D I actually gave my best present to the turbulent kid who was not good at all this year because I think maybe everyone is always trying to ground him and it feels good to have someone be nice to him once a year.
Congrats for this game!
I tried to be nice but could only make 2 of them happy, timer is extremely short, and not knowing what presents are available when choosing kids makes it very hard.
Very nice entry.
More of a story based deal this so my usual spiel about what a sacrifice is doesn't quite fit. Instead I'll say that the exercise is very random due to not being able to see which presents are going to come up. Even if I remember all the requests, I cannot maximise happiness as the first random present might not be to anyone's liking. It is really annoying to later find a present which the first kid would have liked!
How to improve it then? Here's a suggestion:
- Santa lands in the middle of the town, all five presents are visible in the sledge.
- Santa can rummage through the sack to find more fitting presents if needed, this takes time.
- There are multiple towns to visit (say 3-5?).
- There is a set amount of time to get through all the towns.
- If Santa runs out of time, then the later towns are not visited at all; loads of unhappy kids!
In other words, sacrificing becomes about saving time, making snap judgements about who deserves good presents and who can do with tat. Alternatively, the town could just be bigger with visible gifts.
The pixely visuals are a result of the technology, but they function just fine. An 8-bit xmas song in the background would have improved the mood and audio ratings.
I like the setting and the writing; the interactivity is a bit dry.
