Interesting humor haha. Is there an actual list of commands anywhere, or am I left to just go fast and turn left for all of the laps... ? That's a long race to finish!

Edit: Oh, I missed the "Help Please" in the screenshot!

I wanted to do the classic text adventure adage of mostly leaving the player on their own to find out the commands. The help blurb should be enough to get you started, but there's more if you experiment (or sneak a look at the source files).

The idea of a text based racing game is pretty good, but I think you should have included the default commands like 'look'. I didn't much like having to guess (or rely on a screenshot that you have to look up elsewhere) the commands.

I love the choice of colors for the text. I think this is the weirdest genre combination i've ever seen in this jam but it totally works. I enjoyed it. Overall great job on the game!

Excellent humour and mood; you really captured things.

For the longest time, it looked like I was entering a turn, but I actually needed to go straight. After I figured things out, everything began to click!

Well done -- I think you probably accomplished exactly what you set out to do with this game.

Very funny game! I'm not very good with text adventure games but this one was fun. The colors added a very nice mood and level of interest to a very difficult genre to jazz up. I found it a little difficult to tell when I was supposed to keel turning left or when I was supposed to go straight haha. It was fun giving the game sass though. Had to detract a point for lack of seatbelts though. Sorry. :P

Nice game, and yeah, text-based racing, it DOES sound familiar ^^

This is more akin to what I was aiming for at the begining of the Compo as well, but I lost too much time during day 1 and decided to turn my game into what it became. So congrats for making it! The humour is nice and the game is fun (even if it gets a bit boring to restart everything everytime you make the slightest mistake :p)

It is a bit hard to understand when to turn/to go straight at first too. But overall, very nice game! Congrats!

Great game. I found it very humorous that you have enter car and turn key to start the car. It took a while to get it but once you do it is very fun. Graphics wise, well as its a text based game it does not need graphics but i like that you added colour and not just black & white. This is a great genre mix and is definitely incompatible, You can't see where your driving and don't see the incoming wall. This game was very fun. Well done.

I already dreamed to make a "Game in a console" - yours just works great !

It respects "standard" in text adventure game - to be polite, discover the commands by yourself, no visiblity to where you are - the real "graphics engine" is your imagination !

Even the graphics are well chosen - given the theme of Text Adventure (of course).

Very good job, congratulations !

Text games are awesome. Especially when they have good humor in it. 10/10
