While I'm not very good at this one, I can definitely see influence from the theme and I love the sumo wrestling if-you-leave-the-map-you-die mechanic. The AI responds nicely to the player and makes for an interesting challenge when combined with the cover based shooting and occasional wallhack powerup.

Pretty cool! I love the avatars and the dead for giving out of the ring like in a sumo combat. Good job 👍

The mechanics work really nicely and the art and audio improve the experience immensely. You could have done a bit more to develop the theme, but other than that, wonderful!

Amazing music and sfx. The mechanics are really cool and the power ups make the game very interesting. Art is really good too. Very impressive AI in 72h. My only suggestion is to make it slightly easier. Congrats!

The art and sound are what makes the game. The gameplay is nothing new, shoot circles at an enemy, hide behind walls, etc. It's probably unrealistic for a 3 day game, but it feels like there should've been a lot more to it.

Very good, although my reflexes aren't made for such fast-paced shooters. Perhaps there could be different levels of difficulty? The graphics and music were well done.

Incredibly awesome art and music! It would have been better to have more than one enemy to fight as you can easily beat them running in circles and shooting, but is a really good idea!!

I don't see it fitting the jam theme very well though... but it is a awesome entry! Congrats team!

The enemy AI is a little too easy to exploit by just going in circles firing backwards towards them. It's hard to get out of this habit once you see it's effectiveness. Maybe making the enemies slightly faster if they live too long would have worked well. Otherwise great game!

Thanks everyone for your feedback! Yes, @sauski, the enemy is easy to trick, but this is the desired behaviour. Our task as developers was to make our game fun to play, not to make it impossible hard. It requires managable enemies, not invincible ones. Actually, first versions of the AI would chase you with inhuman speed and just push you out of the arena :) It was impressive, but not fun to play. We had very limited time, which we used to tweek the AI as good as we can. Current settings works quite good for variety of players, it is possible even for unskilled players to score some points, and skilled players can still try to get as much points as they can. For example, one member of our team hardly gets 3 kills, when another member has highscore of around 21 kills.

Wow, I've really enjoy this game ! The music is so cool and the graphics are so neat, great jobs on the animated faces. The game really have a strong identity (especially visual), and that's awesome for a Ludum Dare entry. The AI is really well designed and hard to beat, at least at the beginning, after your figure out to dodge his bullets and let him pursuit you so you fire behind you while running and can manage to do multiple kill without loss much hp, but it's longer and you can run out of power and fall out of the zone. Even with this strategy, the game is still hard, I only manage to 12 kills !![highscore.png](///raw/d74/z/869b.png)
Great job and congratulations to all the team !

Am I the only one who didn't have a cursor in game? Really hard to tell where you're aiming, and my cursor fell out of the game window often. Felt pretty good though, just wish I could see my cursor! haha

Very nice style, responsive controls, pretty good AI. Could use more healing drops. And some mechanics to making gameplay more tactical.

This is sweet. It has a very solid art style, a good soundtrack, and solid core gameplay augmented with a good variety of powerups. While others have praised the responsiveness of the AI, I found its limit when the AI got blocked off from me with a wall and I tricked it into ringing itself out over half a dozen times, leading directly to my highscore of 17. Still, I think exploitability fits in with the theme of this game - there is a wallhack powerup, after all. Also, I may have ringed myself out twice before I figured out that the game had ringouts. Well done!

This game is great! I couldn't stop playing. It's super hard, but it still makes you want to jump back in. Great job on the music.
