In this management game, Gods periodically challenge your devotion with sacrifices. Failing to complete a sacrifice will deplete your devotion bar at the top. Should your devotion find itself empty, the Gods would effortlessly smash you insignificant insects and play with your soul for eternity.

CONTROLS - Move camera with arrow keys or WASD. - Hold mouse wheel to rotate camera. - Left click to select villagers or buildings. - Right click to move or gather.

Cool game, only complaints are that sometimes my children wouldn't collect when I told them to, it took multiple clicks. Also I'm not sure if I'm just stupid but I couldn't build other buildings. I tried clicking, dragging, nothing seemed to really work. Also I found it quite annoying that the children kept walking off. Maybe allow them to walk around my restrict them to a certain distance from their starting point. Its quite a cool game.

Cool graphics! I like the joyful yell of the villagers, nice contrast with the fact that they will be sacrificed. It is quickly repetitive and lacks challenge, I guess you didn't have time to create more events to surprise the player. But the concept of preparing between sacrifices is interesting. Overall well done!

An interesting game. However I feel like there is a bug in the build menu. I clicked on trying to build structures at the beginning - before collecting resources, and it didn't allow me to place the sctructure, which is ok. But once I dismissed the build command it didn't allow me to start bulding the structure once I actually got the resources.

Also the "Click and drag" selection option was... Well...not really helpful, as the select volume was in worldspace which is 45 degree angled to camera space so it's really hard to get even one person selected this way... much easier to just click them individually.

But other than this - a pretty nice game.

@hilvon @sadzanenyama I fixed the bug related to the not done pause menu (I did just remove it)

Hey Hades ! o/ You keep coding AIs even if not at work ?! :p (we also had simple agents in our game btw)

Nice and solid game, as always. But it's a little bit too slow I think, and of course, it would need more building types to add variety to the experience. Maybe the Gods could put tree into fire and create a little bit more chaos, to create variety?

Nice entry anyway :)

@badpaul34 yes sure your analyse is great, we wanted to do all that .. and the pace is too slow .. didn't have enough time to polish that :(

This was really cool to play. I liked that you constantly have to prepare for the next sacrifice and that you never know when its coming and what it demands. I found a really annoying bug where sometimes the villagers didn't get sacrificed and just kept walking straight into the building and then you have to tell the to do it again and if you had a big group going doing this at the same time it only counted one of them, but all in all it was super fun and I would like to see and play more of this game if you decide to continue working on it.

Hats off, I really had so much fun trying this game out. Solid design, programming, art and SFX, looks like all of you really worked as a team and produced a little gem. I'm sure you can come up with a name that fits better than the current one haha. Great work!

Nice one ! Graphics are good and the commands aren't frustrating. We quickly understand what we have to do. Maybe lacks some polish on the UI, but it is a nice entry!

I played quiet a while and had a lot of fun. Most things I could criticize are bugs regarding path findig or controls what would be very nick picky for a jam.
Besides that there is a conflict between balancing and content: It takes to long to loose because at some point it becomes to repetitive without enough challenge or discovery. But all in all I think this is a great submission and a solid base for a bigger game.

The programming of this game is excellent. I ended surviving for forever having thousand of resurces and dozens of people. But this is very worked for a jam, good job.

Such a nice-looking and smooth game ! I really loved the characters, buildings and setting. The control are well done and smooth : I love the selection area when dragging the mouse and the box around selected object. Too bad there was not much things to do !
