Energy Juice by TheSand

-Story-
This is not a normal game! This could literally kill you if you're not capable of handling the power and high-stress levels!
I have warned you!
Welcome to Energy Juice! Now after you have read all the warning text above I can finally tell you how this game works. Ready? Okay, you press keys.
Hard? yes.. You see, this isn't a normal 'Press the key you see on the screen' game. For a key to get pressed down it needs force. Lucky your finger can extrude enough force to press it down. And of course, we can harvest this force by small 'Energy harvesters' under your keycaps. The game is made to runs on this force and so the only way for you to win is to simply collect enough energy and you do so by pressing the right key. Fail to do so can make you become saltier for every attempt. THIS is why I warn you. Only play this if you're capable of handling the stress and fastness of this game! Good Luck!

p.s If you didn't know Mike Kasprzak(creator of Ludum Dare) uses this method of harvesting power to fuel his servers! everybody who uses ldjam.com or has used. Have given him the free energy that he uses so he can run this Ludum Dare operation for free! Some day we will get him and stop this energy stealing! #EnergyFormsMatter.
p.s.s This is clearly a joke, no need to panic!

The premise of your game is great but pro mode is savage, I fat-finger it too much :(
Loved reading the intro to this especially, good sense of humor, hopefully we have provided Mike with the energy he needs to keep the servers up :fingers_crossed:
It's very solidly constructed. Simple and tough. The letters are hard to read as they're falling, which makes it different from other "typing" games I've played, where the letters are moving more slowly and there are more of them (like Typing of the Dead or Epistory). This made me use a different part of my brain - I was relying more on immediate letter recognition, sometimes just out of peripheral vision, instead of good typing technique and spelling, which those other games reinforce.
Also, I think that's a great way to generate power!
-I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the music. It's a tad too loud, like others have said, but it's also just weird and high-pitched. Try that melody with a lower pitch and perhaps a different instrument and it might be a bit better!
-At higher speeds, it's a bit hard to read the characters on each tile as they're falling. It might be because of the texturing on the tiles, I'm not sure.
-Try adding different modes where the tiles fall much slower but there are several on screen at a time, similar to how Pro Mode works but more exaggerated, like maybe ten tiles on screen. It would feel more hectic, plus each tile would be more readable due to falling slower. So instead of increasing speed for each difficulty, increase the rate at which tiles spawn.
I didn't realise how fat my fingers were until I tried Pro Mode haha. A good entry that just needs a few tweaks, I think.
EDIT: If you really want to test people's skills, add punctuation and number tiles. Call it Hell Mode or something, because that would be truly evil.
