This is our first entry in Ludum Dare, and we had a blast making it, not knowing if we could make a game in 72 hours. Sorry, no progress updates or anything like that, we're new to this, and just spontaneously decided to join. Enough of that. Let's talk about the game.

Game

It's a sort of Tower Defenese/RTS hybrid game, where you build mines to harvest minerals that are used as fuel for turrets, but also must stash them to launch the rocket; that's the win condition. So balance your resources between building and powering defenses and launching the rocket. More details about the gameplay are available in-game. You'll see it when you play the game(it will take less than 5 min to play through it, so make sure you go give it a shot!), so let's move on to the creation.

We decided upon this idea after the reveal of the theme. To be honest, we weren't too happy about the theme due to it leaving comparatively little room for deviation and interpretation, but decided to take part anyway. The overall creation process was surprisingly smooth. We ran into very few bugs during the programming, and no hunches or anything in ideation or asset creation. So yay. Wasn't sure if we could do it, but here we are, finished with, like, 7 hours left.

Pressing the button sometimes spawn the object, Not all the time, but it's annoying when it happens

Great game! Having to direct all the miners to the right place and turn the turrets on/off makes it challenging. This make a great full game with a few more levels of increasing difficulty.

Nice game pretty unique but I dont know if this was me or not but the guns wouldnt attack enemies even after fueling them up.

Nice game, very nice graphics. I had some troubles getting used to the controls though.
Also did the music dynamically change when enemies are near? That's a really cool touch!

Graphics and music are great. Really loved the RTS / tower defense hybrid.

I think if the connections stayed after you set them, and only changed when you change them, the game would be much better. It's a lot to manage, having to set the connections over and over again.

I love the concept of connecting things to maintain the power levels, though. Good work! :)

Wow, great job making a nice RTS game in a such little amount of time! 3D models are really neat and the animations are impressive! The audio part is also very good :O

Nice idea! The on/off switches for the turrets were very cool, and the line drawing to move resources around is a very neat idea.

Run into a problem where one of my mines' ships stopped moving, not sure why.

The graphics and music are both very nice.

Graphics are cool! It's a good mix with STR an managment game.
You should add a visible range o turrets to help us to create them in better places and to know when to turn on/off for not waste energy.

I really like the music and the graphics for the different towers. I m wondering if there is a loosing condition.

The idea connecting the towers with the source is a nice idea but gets annoying after a while. Some staying connections would be great.
For me it wasn't clear where my resources were. Therefore, it would be nice to have a more dominant UI than a small number on the rocket.

I would also prefer controlling the whole camera movement with the mouse rather than with wasd.

I found also a small bug: When you build a tower and the resources are stolen you can still set them

Overall nice game :)
