In a dystopian future where Earth has become inhospitable, the last generation of people on board a failing spaceship that was sent out as an attempt to save mankind struggle to keep the ship's power running.

Having no skills and knowing nothing of the previous generations of people on board the spaceship, Dereka - the daughter of an engineer - takes it upon herself to venture outside her sealed-off residential block in order to figure out how to save her small group of friends.

Nice! I like this start you've gotten on the game, it's looking and sounding very good so far. I only wish we had gotten to see some more mechanics for the game, but I understand with the limited time. The story is solid, glad to hear you want to keep going with it, so thanks for bringing this to the jam!

Great artwork and sound! The story is very interesting, too bad it leaves you on a cliffhanger. I understand that you can't finish a very long story in the time of a jam, but some minor arc would be nice, at least some questions answered.

Have you done the graphics and all yourself? Looks very good, and the game is fun too. Reminds me of old retro games.

Very cool looking game, the end was sudden as I assume I ran out of time. Could use some type of indicator. Great sound effects, amazing graphics. The story felt extremely impactful.

Good work!

The story is looking to be pretty interesting! The atmosphere was spot on as well. In my opinion, the sound was a bit too loud for me but other than that, it seems like a well introduction into something new.

Wow great atmosphere, Visuals and Sounds. The story is very intruiging, but it just ended after i unloced the door :O

As others have said, the art and sound was on point. I applaud the consistent theme/mood. Everything down to the font had consistent retro/nostalgic feel.

The atmosphere is great, sadly the execution (graphics and audio) aren't as good (they are good ... but the story is way too better than audio-visual quality), and it ends with cliffhanger.

Overall I like this entry a lot, in my opinion one of the best for Theme and Mood categories.

I really loved the story and the whole tone of the game. The music was very engaging. The plot was very intriguing and I'd be curious as to what happens in corridor 9. Good job.

I agree what everyone is saying, nice job, and I'm glad you guys are planning to continue this. The ending did feel a bit abrupt though.

This plays like the introduction or a playable trailer for something epic. You're continuing development? That's awesome. Graphics and sound are top notch. Characters don't get a lot of screen time yet, but I already feel I have a decent grasp on what each one is like. Keep going!

woah. we have a winner

awesome graphics, awesome music, feeling like those 16-bit rpgs, especially lagrange point or some other sci-fi stuff

even though this is early access, it feels like a complete, finished episode of some episodical game

i would gladly pay you for this

but i want to buy payroll and that game that brentalfloss does the music for

also: came here from itch.io's recommended games

I really liked the graphics and the audio, the story was interesting but this is like a half of an introduction scene, I saw before hand that it ended on a cliffhanger but it's more like an abrupt ending. I would like to see a final product for this, it has a lot of potential, Good Job!

Interesting start and interested to see where you take this and how the story is expanded upon. Liked the whole atmosphere but did feel like the ending was a bit abrupt, although that's definitely understandable for a LDJAM game. Graphics were really nicely done and the quotes section in the menu was a funny personal touch which I liked reading through.

Looks like a nice game, sadly can't find a way to make it work on Linux from the sources. If there's ever a Linux64 build, I'll certainly try.
