Running out of PEWer! by The Lucky Pew

You're running out of PEWer!
Defend your planet in this time bending twin-stick shooter!
Or just enjoy the pew pew pews and pretty explosions...
Taking damage or shooting costs energy, while pickups dropped by defeated enemies recovers it. The fabric of time is directly linked to your energy, so as you run out of power things will start to slow down, until eventually everything stops and time itself breaks.
Features: - Four different enemy types with unique behaviours - Ever increasing difficulty - High Scores (post your best ones!) - Keyboard and controller support (Controllers are recommended though!) - Lots of Pews!
Minor update 1.1: - You can now toggle to a low quality version with Q
Team TheLuckyPew consists of: - Berend Wouda: Lead Programmer - Arne Bezuijen: Art & Game Design - Nathan van Ofwegen: Audio - Joël van Neerbos: Programming Support

Enhancement idea, to grab enegy if you kill an ennemy?
The gameplay itself is a bit limited. Still had fun with it, great job!
It always amazes me when people create something of this caliber in a weekend, great job!
The gameplay is quite appealing too, although playing it with a keyboard is less fun than playing it with a controller.
Well done!
However, since it's build with Unreal it should be easy enough to build it yourself from the source. (In proper Linux fashion :P)
