Really nice work done here! Love the art and the music but clever game idea too!

This is indeed a great and fun game, i love the art work and sound makings in the game, its very well written how you controll and was just ready to go and play, its a nice touch, you could definetly get this somewhere.

That was one really heavy lava lamp.
Movement felt really slow even with an empty bag.

This was pretty neat! The level layouts were cool, and stealing the piece of art by the 4 rotating lasers was fun an satisfying~

This is a great game all around. I'm impressed by the amount of content and the level design. It was really fun, I'll definitely be back to play it some more.

Really enjoyed that, especially early on when I didn't know what things were worth and the end would be a race between my very slow walk and the cops.

(And to be fair, real life lava lamps are also surprisingly heavy.)

I should have figured out what happens if I get caught before I got almost all the upgrades. Sitting here waiting for the cops just to see the bad ending.

This is a really great game overall. The art and animations are very well done and the gameplay is really fun. I loved that there wereupgrades and a few different levels, it feels very complete and very well put together. Great work!

Oh man, this game got me playing for about half an hour. It was addictive to try to buy all the improvements in the store and then get to play better. AND I loved all those animations in the transitions. Great job!

Got really tense when got greed and slow and the bar was filling up, One suggestion would be to choose another font. 🚓

Woah, wonderful graphics!! Gameplay is fun, had a nice time playing, but there isn't an end I think. One tip would be changing the control scheme, this tile-based form made me think that the game crashed in the first time I picked some heavy stuff, I even reloaded the page. Amazing overall guys!!

I think I ran into a bug at one point where the controls weren't responding. I couldn't drop something and got caught. The art and animation look really complete- good job!

Nice game with nice graphics! What I have noticed when playing it is that the game gives you the choice of taking bigger and more value objects at once, risking on not having enough time to escape the police, or take less value objects on various runs without any risk of loosing. But if you want to make the second you have to go through a slower the menu process every single time. Notice that these isn't bad, it gives the game depht on gameplay I think, and its really cool!

Its neat to see another game about stealing, where carrying more items is harder. That's what my group ended up doing too! I really like the animations in this game.

Small glitch when I had just under the max weight. I moved super slowly and couldn't stop moving even after letting go of the keys and couldn't drop anything either. It eventually let me drop something, but i was panicking and the cops were on the way

Huh. what a weird game, hahaha. It definitely followed the theme well, and felt like a complete game. The animations were very well done.

Solid entry! I managed to get max levels in all the of the skills! I thought the stealing was pretty relaxed. It was always possible to get away in time. Also, having different levels is nice, but since they were not substantially different, I stuck to the mansion for basically the entire game. Good work!

Nice work. I kept thinking 'just one more thing', and getting caught. I would make a terrible robber :( Managed to escape with a golden turd though, so was all worth it. Love the 'caught' animation with the excessive baton use! Clever take on the theme too.

First thing i did, get caught by the police. That animation was AMAZING! haha laughed my ass off. Good job cant fault anything in the game

Very nice game, have a lot of fun playing it, and did played it muuuuch more than expected. Too bad there is no ending after having bought everything from the store and became the burglar lord himself. The animations, however, are really awesome!

Btw, what kind of family lives in a tiny house, have a $75 computer, but EIGHT $150 gifts for christmas ? :joy:

I would like to try this game, but I cant seem to move at all.

I experienced a lot of movement issues, I couldn't move up much at all, and most of the time when over an item I'd bounce back the direction I came from without being able to pick it up.. that was frustrating.. Looks like it would be a good game otherwise, but with movement mostly non-functional it's not really playable.

The idea is well programmed, I liked the art in the cutscene as well. I just think it tends to be a bit too easy not to lose, even if that means you only get 100$ per houses. Overall, a strong and fun entry, congrats!

When I estimated the density of the knapsack while the timer filled up, I felt excited! If you continue to develop this, during my first two burglaries, I didn't notice the weight scale meter and didn't completely notice to the volume meter. I liked that the weight slowed me down, but I was surprised when this happened. The burglar animation doesn't look like it is struggling and doesn't look like his knapsack is filling.

Really interesting idea. I really liked the cutscene art and the basic mechanic, but I got bored relatively quickly. The progression definitely felt slow at times, and once I got a good sense of what was and wasn't worthwhile rushing through the houses began to feel repetitive. The gameplay soundtrack was nice and mood-setting, but I was not especially thrilled with the shop music. Still, the sheer variety of items make for some interesting decision points. My performance: one loss on the road to max upgrades. Good work!

The animations and other art in this are really great and the cutscenes especially make it feel really polished. The game loop is good, but starts to feel a bit grindy after a while, I think because there are not that many places to explore or higher rewards being dangled in front of you. There isn't really even any incentive to explore around the mansion because there's so much stuff between the start point and the exit, and for a similar reason I'm not sure why I would bother with the maze. The music is good as long as you don't spend too much time shopping :P Overall, a very promising game.

Excellent game ! Really interesting gameplay. If fits the theme very well and all the mechanics (the choice of the building, the police countdown, the weight...) contribute to make this burglary simulation very immersive. May be a mechanic that force the player to take more risk, like the obligation to have X$ before X turn, is missing, but it is also very fun that the difficulty depends on the choice that make the player (choice of buildings and choice of the object to take inside the building). The fact that you can drop objet add some strategy to the game. Very good work !

Wow, the cutscenes are so nice, also very funny. The whole transition between stages is really great through it. I appreciate the easter egg loot. On the gameplay side, i would love a small rebalance towards more loot. On the maze i could only take a single goblet, because the other stuff laying around in the feasibly area was so heavy that i stopped walking. On the mansion i was a bit irritated (and got caught) because i did not nice that i could not leave where in entered, before it was too late. We also thought about using a "slow down" mechanic in our game, but ultimately devided against it, so i'm happy that i had the chance to try it in your game. My fear was, that walking slower and slower does not increase the fun, or makes the game more exciting - it slows it down, potentially making the "final chase" a bit of a drag because it's uncomfortably slow. Regarding the music, it was a bit repetetive for me, but i'm also a bit over sensitive in that regard.
I love that you added a shop - together with the result screen that very satisfyingly pops up my loot, a robbery feels very rewarding.
Anyway, overall a very nice game, good job!
