escape from apocalypse by nakato53
Submission for LudumDare 43 : Sacrifices must be made
Your planet is under attack ... you have to save as much as possible of your friends ... but some of them need to be sacrified to allow other to get out !
Select any of your units and assign them some roles ! Reach the end of 3 paint handmake levels !

It's a Lemmings like game. Made alone in around 20h,
basic features are finished ... no more available time for me to make lot of level and some new mecanics that i have in mind ... ( dynamic environment , ennemies, new actions, and the backend story ... ) but its playable so i submit it :)
Code : Haxe, Kha, VSCode
you need to save as much as possible your squad

I have "receive notifications" on for this post - so please let me know if you change anything so I can test again - it looks so beautiful I really want to try it!
[I'll test it out on my work machine today too... now I'm interested in what would cause that kind of bug, seeing as it's a Haxe game]
As its just webgl/canvas things i was thinking that all browser have the same behaviors :/
I will try to find some friends with linux to have a check !
All in all I like the feel of managing the sacrifices of your bots.
Also, I had a lot of difficulty clicking the button I wanted while the people were moving because I didn't take into account that the menu itself was a moving target, which lead to a lot of frustration when I changed my dudes into the wrong type on accident.
Overall, it looks like it could be a lot of fun, and I really like the pixel manipulation style map, but those things I mentioned definitely made me enjoy it less.
I've noticed a few bugs, like, if you're not focusing on the tab, the collisions don't function and fullscreen doesn't cover the whole screen. I'm using Chrome.
Good entry! :)
