To be honest the turn-based approach didn't really do much for me, but I suppose that is the point of jams: to experiment with weird mechanics.\nMy mind was blown when I tried to move around the enemy and go towards their workers - they moved to intercept! They actually have decent AI!\nWell done sir.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"bentglasstube","author_uid":"1002361","time":"2018-05-02T08:54:02Z","epoch":1525251242,"modified":1525251242,"text":"This is an interesting concept, but I'm not sure the turn based part adds much to the rts other than periodic interruptions. It could be that I am just really bad at RTSes though and so I can't tell the full effect of having to do turn-based planning in the later game. While I understand the camera controls are a shoutout to older games of the genre, they were pretty hard to use. I also felt like the gameplay was a bit slow early on. ALl that said, I did enjoy the idea of the RTS with turns and the computer internals theme of a network attack was a great touch.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Enumox","author_uid":"1012090","time":"2018-05-02T18:15:23Z","epoch":1525284923,"modified":1525284923,"text":"A really nice game and props to you for managing to create it alone! \n\nI didn't play much though, I guess I'm just not into RTS's.\n\nCongratulations!","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Gennon","author_uid":"1076906","time":"2018-05-02T20:00:10Z","epoch":1525291210,"modified":1525291210,"text":"Clever Idea! It's not even clear what the goal of the game is. Figuring out these things was frankly more frustrating than it was supposed to be. It's really a shame, because the overall look and feel is well done, the idea is original and the setting is definitely something fresh. The game is simple but polished, and besides some control issues, I didn't experience any technical glitches. Just try to make the game more accessible for new players, maybe with an extra scene where you briefly explain the controls and add some context. Also, I didn't really see how this connected to the theme.\n\nAnyway, nice job, all in all, just improve on the presentation a bit!","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"smilewood","author_uid":"1001524","time":"2018-05-06T04:36:47Z","epoch":1525581407,"modified":1525581407,"text":"Quite a fun game to play. Impressive work writing a computer player for it, even if it isn't as aggressive as it would have needed to be to win. I think that this was a very well done execution of your goal for this theme, and just needs a bit more polish with control and UI to become a great game in the future.
