Your alien race has landed on hostile planet called Earth. You were followed by our ancient enemy race, that is killing your kind across whole galaxy for no reason (nuking their planet is indeed NO reason).

Starting of with small base you have to defend yourself for as long as possible. Breed your minions and shapeshift them into structures to set up base defenses and power generation.

Try to beat high score of my tester (credits for him - Kolez) which was something around 2988 seconds (he was cheating of course, he must be!).

the difficulty could maybe ramp up faster? After five minutes nothing much seemed to be happening, I聽just had a ton of turrets and nothing was a threat yet.

Thanks for playing, I thought so too ... we had it harder before and switched to easier version that is up now (as the tester had problems surviving for more than 200 seconds), it will eventually get harder and (in the end) beat the player.

Basically you will reach really hard difficulty after some 6 - 7 minutes. It will ramp up really quickly after (basically difficulty gets harder faster and faster).

The path planning was cool, and I like the concept. Though the difficulty curve I felt was slow at the beginning and then suddenly impossible. Other than that, this is pretty great for a weekend of development time.

Beyond just making a million turrets/reactors, I couldn't really figure out how to progress past that. I got a bit bored after a few minutes.

My last best score was 1262. You need 200 power income - and after build towers again and again till the end. :)

Nice environment but a bit lacking in variety otherwise. I see that the difficulty ramps up after 6-7 minutes, but some additional upgrade would have been nice. Oh and the "shapeshift into explosion" is quite a funny strech. :D

Some sort of variety with upgrades or tower types is essential for fun TD, otherwise it gets boring very quickly.

cool concept, i like the 3D graphics. i think it needs better (dynamic) audio but overall it is pretty fun!

but karln is right, it麓s too easy.

Thanks for playing. As mentioned adding more variety (for both - player and the enemy) would definitely improve the overall feel here (the ideas were there, but we ran out of time for their implementation for the jam).

I'm still playing with an idea of extending this with ideas we had during the development, so I think about the whole project as "proof-of-concept".

I tried running the game in WINE (on Linux) and all I see is the pit from the first screenshot, with a fire and weird particles on top, and some shadows moving slowly. But nothing is happening and I can't seem to move the camera...

@batmanasb There is new game button in bottom left, but I'm not sure whether you will see it under Wine. It is in Unity though so I can try building Linux version.
