Neo-Liberal Hunter : Kill the State - The Prequel by Julius103

made by Julius103 for LD 40 (JAM)

Your are the president of a dying country:

Full of debts, too much civil servant, huge administrative services, your country is an example of non-efficacity.

Fortunaly, mega-corporations have decided to save you by buying your debt under some conditions of course. As Mr Petelescouillax, CEO of Monsantox, said: "It is time to make money Mister President".

You don't know how to do ? Do not worry, mega-corporations have a lot of ideas to help you. For example, why do you use your coslty civil workers to repair your highways when you can delegate this work to the efficient and ecological PetrolCorp ? Why should you make a costly civil space program when GoGol proposes its brand new shuttle spaceZ ?

To sum up and as everybody knows, The most civil servant you get, the worst it is. So get back to work now, Mr President.

I really like the idea and the different "advisers" who appear. However I found the way the options influenced the stats not very intuitive, for example sometimes developing some weapon didn't improve the army or peace didn't improve international relations.

Quite an interesting game nevertheless! And funny dialogue :).

It's really a nice game, very funny, but there are many incomprehension about how impact some cards, specially when you can have bonus on a card you draw and you draw it again, and again, and again but bonus doesn't cumulate how we can expect. However i find it complete and full of reference.

Cool game! I was thinking about making one of these too. I would maybe put less variables to the left. Congrats!

Best one I've played so far! I like that economist, he's just like "No." :D
It would need some more questions though since they start repeating pretty fast.

A lot of things to track, ... I like it ! Pretty challenging ,especially when you don't have any info on how your decisions will impact on the game. Took me a while to understand. But still lots of fun!

Nice game, I feel a big inspiration came from the game called Reigns :)

Good job on adding so many elements to the game. But I feel like I was very lost in it - whatever I kept doing that one relationship was going down and when I was at 0 it said I was 0 with some completely different relationship...

I would love some background music for the game. Good job though! :)

Yeah, there is a bit of Reign in our game ;). There is a toggle for music ingame, maybe too little...

Oh I haven't noticed that option! I usually expect games to have music turned on by default so people have a reason to search for an option to disable it if it annoys them :D

Changing my rating on your audio :)

Good game. At first I thought it was going to be a far left moralization game, but it's actually about finding a good balance.

Pretty cool game. Graphics are nice, but there are a little too many statiscics and they can be a little overwelming.

I like this idea, but I wish there was less categories and instead of text maybe icons the described which categories get a +/- for each decision. Would like to see a post jam update of this!

I love the use of counsellors! It is necessary to learn by playing several times, which is a plus for me. Good work!
