Outside by Tamfoolery
A dystopian puzzle game.
Controls: A, D, Space, E - Look for visual cues!

My first solo attempt at a game jam, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out!
Made using Unity with only primitive 3D objects (who needs models?), and uses Unity's Post Processing stack.

**I can! You don't know me, game!** But yeah, I don't think I was supposed to be able to make that jump...
Very cool game. Superb atmosphere, visuals and audio. I stumbled into a bug where the leftmost elevator switch didn't activate at all (after the first time and then failing). I had to restart the game for it to start working again.
Beyond the presentation there is also a very good puzzle gameplay.
Great entry!
So the graphics are obviously amazing. It looks just like Inside, and I can't believe you did this in just two days. First thing I did was look at your setup of the Post-Processing stack. I didn't use it until now, but I sure will from now on.
The sound design is great as well. Definitely gets across the mood.
The gameplay I didn't love. The puzzle design is amazingly good. It was very fun figuring out what button to push next, but the controls really got in the way of that. I got stuck at corners multiple times. Mainly because of the tank on my back. That led to me not being able to push the block, or me just falling off somewhere without any way to get back up.
I feel like it shouldn't happen that the block can just fall off the cliff. Or if it does just restart the level. I didn't get it at first and pushed it off and wandered around.
It's also weird that you have to push the block more than half it's width off the platforms. I thought it would fall off, but it didn't. And I even needed to do that.
Other than that it was really great though. Awesome work.
Also the game was really, really laggy, even on lowest graphics.
Cool idea tho, and really good sounds!
I had to restart the game once to be able to activate one switch (I think I broke it somehow). Otherwise the most difficult part was the timing of jumps. (I am quite bad at platform games and I don't think the game reached 60 FPS on my computer so let's blame it on that.)
It is so nice I can't believe this is a Compo game. Well done!
