I love how you know where you were already searching for the exit by looking at the blood on the floor.
I like the light system and atmosphere. Good job. The one thing I am not sure about is how te bullets fly throght the level, sometimes they disappear shortly after they were fired.

Interesting gameplay mechanic - but the health potions are few and far between or are too tightly bunched up some times. You could perhaps check for potions clustering together and spread them around a bit.
You managed to create a really good mood with the color palette and lighting, props for that

@xankill3r yea I didn't have enough time to work out the clustering of potions  but i'll give it a go and maybe release a fix :)

@hechi Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

@nchalakov why can't you download it?

Solid jam game! If you made the audio and visuals, great work, it all comes together very nicely! And regardless, the visual effects are overall well-implemented and make gameplay satisfying and keep up the mood. Apart from that, the blood income through levels doesn't seem to be very well balanced with the prices of the weapons.

nice game ! I have a hard time moving around because of my french keyboard but apart from this the concept is solid, the visual and audio are well matched and completely in tune with the theme !

Nice graphics and audio! The only problem I had was having a hard time knowing what the range of the gun was.

I really like the atmosphere and the feel is very smooth. I'm only a bit confused as to how you get so much blood stash. Couldn't even afford the second gun on level 5 and died there.

Overall, a great entry ! Well done !

theme wise this game was great -- however the random location of the portal made it kind of boring and the enemies could not move that fast so it was pretty easy -- thanks for making it

@jjoeyay @daitse Thanks for playing!

@don-fouts Thanks for the feedback! I've fixed that now so you can see where the bullets hit

@nerzal & @fluffy-kaeloky Oops, my bad! turns out I had an issue with calculating the stash value. issued a quick fix so it calculates correctly can you re-download and it try out once more and let me know what you think? Thank you so much for pointing this out.

@paulhocker Thank you so much for playing. I guess it gets more fun when you get the better weapons!

I made it to level 2! I like it so far, and may come back to it later.

The graphics and sound was great, as well as the lighting, effects, all culminating to make a great feeling game! I also liked the blood trail, showing where you have already been; that was helpful!

Nice game! Very polished gameplay, fitting art and sound. Played a lot of other similar games this time around but yours was the best so far. The hp decrease was well balanced and I could get quite far (level 5 or 6). But The minigin seemed quite useless. Very small magazine and a huge spray radius. Very hard to kill enemies with that.
Nontheless a very cool game!

I have tried out your game and I didn't give up already! I think I made it to level 9 or 10, I had just unlocked the weapon after the minigun. So what are the two rules in life? Weapon reloaded a bit too slow for me, so perhaps change it so that it reloads bullet for bullet and you can stop the reloading when you need to. In the level I died there were a lot of dead ends, so it was quite hard to find the exit. Enemies also do a lot of damage, so that didn't help either. I do like the mechanic of your health also getting decreasing by time. Why do you have humor turned off, that's one of the best parts of the game?

Nice game, congrats on being able to finish it on your own :) . Like other people already said, using the blood trail to show where the player has already been was really cool idea. It took me some time to understand how the blood stash worked though. In retrospect it makes perfect sense that you keep whatever you didn't spend for later purchases, but it just wasn't very clear from the get go (then again i just woke up and haven't had my dose of cafeine yet so maybe that's why i didn't get it :p ).

Also i'd have one small suggestion to make about the camera : you could center it on a point between the player and the cursor, like halfway between them maybe, or closer to the player (i think nuclear throne does something like that), that way it feels more comfortable when you're aiming at an enemy in the distance. Of course that's unless you do want the player to feel uncomfortable and not be able to see too far ahead, but having access to more information also helps to make more strategic descisions.

Overall, really cool entry, gg :)

The feel of the shotgun and the minigun were far superior to the other guns. In fact, I disliked the handgun so much, I almost didn't play after the first round! And the bloodshooter has far too much kick. You may be in danger of giving some people motion sickness. I'd also like to see some variety in the enemy types. It was pretty fun though, and that's the most important thing :)
