I can't get this game to work. WASD and mouse aren't doing anything on the web version.

Sorry if it's not working on some computers. Game Maker's HTML exports are very unstable. Still, you can try the desktop standalone version.

Wow, what a creative game! It was your amazing title that made me decide to play this game. Because I jumped right into playing it without reading your description it took me a while to understand what I head to do. When I did I was amazed :) The first time I saw an enemy fall from the sky because I shot at it I had to laugh out loud! I think the best things about your game are the creativity, humor and amazing pixelart. The game looks really simple and detailed at the same time. The hud elements like the healthbar looks as if it has some really cool 3D effect. The gameplay was very fun. I liked constantly switching from collecting bio matter to shooting at the aliens. The one thing I think you could improve is audio. After a while the sounds got a bit annoying. But overall I am really glad I found your game, because it is extremely cool! Good job!
Of course feel free to check out our game if you want to :)

Hehe, you have a twisted sense of humour. We appropriate to the theme. A well polished and fun game.

It was okay, fun at first but after a while the movement got a bit too fast atleast for me. became a bit boring after a while too.

It took me a minute to figure out exactly what was going on...
That's hilarious!

Great game! I really like having to balance picking up people with shooting aliens. The art and sound and controls are all top-notch and make this feel like a non-game-jam-game. My only gripe with it is that it was hard to understand exactly what collides with what. Sometimes I could fire humans through buildings, other times, they got blocked (or maybe only on the building 'supports'?). Same with the enemy projectiles. Still, a really fun, creative, well put together game!

- could use some music
- ok graphics for what I could see
- gameplay on web seemed to be broken, nothing I did seemed to change anything.

Managed to get the web version working here after trying it and it not working - think it's to do with window focus on loading? *shrug*

Really liked the core game mechanic/idea of using people as weapons! Very innovative! I didn't particularly feel a sense of progression with the game, and sometimes I wasn't sure how many hits the enemies would take to die so I just fired semi-aimlessly. A bit of finer balancing and I think this game will go far. Lots of potential!

Nice little game! I laughed because of the idea and execution. Little people look like ragdolls and I like the way invaders die. Great choice of title as well :-)

I like this! The concept of sacrificing the civilians to stop the aliens, who are... also killing the civilians has a lot of potential. The movement feels really nice too, I like the feeling of inertia and the animations of the civilians milling around and falling after they're shot.

This could use some more progression, as others mentioned. I played a few times but didn’t really feel like I had much of a goal to aim for, especially since sacrificing civilians never really had any negative consequences for me and the enemies didn’t seem to level up or develop at all.
