Graphics are stunning and well done for the time everyone had. The sound and music is fitting to. I like the game idea it self, just the movement / interaction is a little bit clunky. But still a brilliant game. With some more polish and a few more game features / different item systems, this would be a fun little game for a few bucks. Well done guys!

Phew, not sure where to start!

The graphics and music are amazing, feels way ahead of jam level quality. Humor is a difficult thing, i was astonished by how well you did it, it is genuinely funny - also something that maybe 5% of the humoristic jam games achieve. The dialogues are so good! The concept is very cool, a shop is always nice and the aging shopowner makes it immediately interesting. The crafting seems very deep. The sprites are top notch...considering you did it for 3 direction in top down is insane. In general, the scope is insane. And that shows a little in the gameplay.

I'll write some stuff i felt during playing. It might sound harsh at times, but only because i'm already invested in your game and would love for it to continue and improve. Personally, direct constructive citicism works best for me, jam feedback tends to be "nicified" - i won't do that here, so i hope you are not offended. I guess most of the stuff i write is already clear to you (because it's not lack of knowledge or skill, but lack of time due to scope), but nonetheless, here it comes:
- the clipping does not feel very good. I sometimes got stuck, or passed through objects i think i couldn't pass. The movement feels good otherwise.
- the placement does not work well for me. Most of the time i needed 3 attempt to deliver an item to a customer, i was always standing below. Same holds for the placement of items in the crafting slot. I often misplaced them. I think there needs to be some feedback if the current position is valid for placing an object, both visual and sound. The "hitboxes" might need adjustment, but maybe the placement feedback will already be enough.
- i was not sure how to trigger the crafting process. It seemed like it would go off after 2 seconds if i stand near the area. But sometimes this was not intentional, as i was just reading the recipes. But i got it after some time.
- the recipe display is both tedious and stressing. The paging introduces waits for the right page, and also a stressed feeling when looking at something new. The switching should not happen. In the beginning, i don't know any recipes, but there are a ton. So i end up running around and placing items on the crafter to see the recipes. This is tedious and not so fun, there is enough running around with the other tasks. I think it would be better if the recipes for an item are shown in a little book, when standing in front of them. But i get why you did it that way.
- the aging was not 100% clear initially. I thought i needed to be the oldest man to age down, so i only tried very late to age down when being a man in my 50s or so. It worked, but i did not understand it from the recipe. I think there needs to be a way to display this in the recipe. I didn't know i could agoe down with chicks through all stages, because the aging tuotrial didn't trigger for me.
- there are some gameplay bugs. I aged to young boy through the 2 blue potions, but they were not removed in the process. I was able to age down again with them, and they got removed on the second try. In one run, no guests came in the first day. I only noticed on my second playthrough, that i got a tutorial for crafting the special bow. Didn't get one on the first run. I think it might have happened because i already aged down by accident. Customers were completely different, nor sure if it is randomized or something went wrong. On my second run, i got like 40 customers - not sure if this is also intended :D
- the progression is a bit unclear. I used all my herbs on the second day, making tons of the same stuff. Then needed to skip most remaining days because i had no herbs. I could not foresee this.
- gold seems irrelevant. What's the point of selling anything :D

Never wrote such a long feedback, which only means one thing: I love your game! The best rated game for me so far :)

ps: omg the ending :D :D :D

@rongo-matane I really appreciate your feedback, don't worry about offending us. This kind of feedback is a lot more valuable than a compliment. Though when I played your game, all I had to give was compliments cause there was really nothing wrong with it.

Great game! I found it all incredible, I could not finish because there were some bugs holding me. Once the character disappeared completely from the map lol.

What a great concept and fantastic execution! My only issue was with bounding boxes. I kept interacting with the wrong things.

Hi @rongo-matane, your feedback is making me want to spend a couple of days on polish!

The game lacked a clear goal initially so we spent the remaining time adding the story instead of going for a solid polish. A game like this fits a 7 day jam better but we got stuck on the concept during brainstorming to go ahead with it anyway.

Thanks for playing it until the end!

Dang this is well impressive! This is obviously not your first game but I'm really curious as to how you do that and whether your Game Jam games ever end up on Steam or on sale somewhere else?
As far as your game is concerned it kept me hooked for like 1h ^^#
It's a bit of a shame the music doesn't loop perfectly but the crafting system is CRAZY well-balanced and well-made - especially considering the time frame - it's pretty increcible :-O
It took me a while to figure out that when the recipes show an old man - it means you grow older one stage - I was stuck as a kid and wanted to be an adult to transform demons into leather... anywho ^^#
The game's humour is real gr8 it got me giggling

Well I'll be sure to check out your games during a Ludum Dare from here on out that's fo sho :-D - I hope you continue to do your thing and yeah... congratulations Ur work is amazing m8 :-O!

Well, this is amazing to make a so advanced game in so few time! Rongo Matane said almost everything, and better, so I can't say nothing more. Except… After three or four days, no customers shows up anymore, I just had the scripted dialogs with the hag and Sam, until the 10th days, and after that, the game continues without ending. I'll give it another try, to see if this happens again.

*edit : finished it on the second try. I guess I have a little rushed it the first time, so I probably burned a game condition*

dang this game ate nearly an hour of my time! The crafting is super engaging and I made everything in the game afaik. I thought the LD theme was woven into this brilliantly and haven't seen that kind of interpretation yet. Using age as an ingredient itself was very interesting and it was fun to think of a shopkeeper that constantly juggles their age to craft what he needs. The ingredients/recipes were designed very well as there was a strong push/pull on every resource, and as a player I loved mastering the recipes in my head and knowing exactly how to do what. I couldn't seem to get an ending after day 15 or so so that's a bummer, but overall this was a fantastic entry and one of the longest I've played.

The graphics and dialogues are adorable :)

This game is awesome! Didn't have enough time to play it, but it was really great! I always have loved shop games and this is a great one :)! I love the crafting system and the outcomes of the crafting system are also awesome. I also love that you can use your age as a crafting system, thats awesome!

Very nice game and puzzle mechanics. Great graphics and sound. (The soundtrack got a little repetitive after a while though). Well done!

This game is great! Amazing graphics especially for a gamejam. It's also really funny. The gameplay can be a bit wonky with the items not going where I want them to go or picking up the wrong item, but overall a really nice game!

Really cool game, the art and ideia of using your lifetime to craft items is great.

The display of possible recipes for a item sometimes changed before i could memorize what i needed, and so had to wait, pick up the item and put it back again to see it one more time.

Sometimes when trying to pick up an item or put it on the desk, just would not work, even though i was stading right in front of it, in this screenshot bellow i'm trying to put the sword on the desk, but dosen't go.

![werid2.png](///raw/254/e/z/24a40.png)

Also some times i'm seem to be in front of the item x, but it gets the item next to it, in this other screen shot for me i'm in front of the stick but it gets the chick.

Nice entry! I liked the concept, it fits well with the theme. Graphics and Audio are very cool. GG.

Note: At some point a big gray rectangle took all the screen and i was stuck.

Some improvements:
* audio volume is very low, i had to put my speakers at maximum.
* arrow keys makes page scroll on itch.io (ping me on discord, i'll give you the solution ;-) )
* collision and world bounds could be better, i managed to go behind wall :D

Anyway, it was fun to play.

Cool entry! It reminded me of little alchemy. I liked how you changed the person to make different items. The audio was a little low. Good job!

Omg, I played it for hour and I don't regret it! Amazing work, very interesting and with a good variety. Also perfectly balanced, and THAT what is truly amazing. So far this is the best game I played this LD, seriously.

Final choice really cracked me.

Ah, yes, forgot to mention - for some reason sound didn't play under Firefox for me.
