World Tours by Mathiouza
World Tours is a game made in 16 hours for the #LD38 . This is a plateformer game really, really simple where you have to make world tours to access each level. Enjoy : )

The hitboxs are not really precise, but the game is fun to play, good job !
But for 16 hours this is truely great :)
As improvement, try to fix some of the background glitching, just the clouds flickering here and there and maybe some camera bugs where it lags behind the player for a few frames.
Also the overall feel of the character could be improved, especially the jump. Try to give the player more vertical speed instead of jump height, I feel like I just barely made the leap over the fire, even though I had a lot of height, I just almost came up short every time.
Lastly, the hitbox on the fire was just a little too large, so maybe try matching the hitbox closer to the visuals.
Anyway, in 16 hours this is quite impressive. I feel like this kind of game really has the potential to turn into something great  Nice work!!
* The music was really good!
* I liked the simple type of gameplay that you created. It was short and easy, but I enjoyed it.
* Despite being similar, the different obstacles were different enough to be enjoyable.
****Minor Nitpicks:****
* Being able to build up momentum would be nice. Sometimes the collision would be raised above the ground, and it was scary to have to jump and then press right. Dying didn't always seem fair, and I think a more momentum based system could allow for jumping from a distance.
****Great job and thanks!****
The controls were a little buggy. Every once in a while they would stop working, and the collision, as others have said, were not perfect.
That said, I loved the concept, and it wasn't too hard, though I felt a little cheated by being forced to die at the end.
I played this on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/141022066 - Time 1:19:00
As for the game well.. it's just a simple platformer, nothing to say really. We don't really know what is happening or what is the story behind it so it's hard to figure out what were your intentions.
I can catch a brief glimpse of a humoristic game with inevitable deaths though, definitely the direction I see for your entry.
I liked the collision with the ground, it seems to follow the visuals well.
If you made this alone in 16 hours, you could have put it in the Compo. If you plan on coming to the Jam again in the future, you can take a little more time to insert more content into the game!
Good job, and thank you for rating my Little Scout! :D
