Flipswitch tells the tale of Flippy, a switch flipping robot who crosses paths with Bad Terry, a power-draining robot from the 80's. Will Flippy save the day, or will the city be drained away?

How to play: Lure Bad Terry towards the open power sources by flipping the switches! Don't let him charge up though! His battery drains when he isn't charging! (Bad Terry has an AI from the 80's and will target the closest open power source) Jump around and avoid his stun bullets!

Controls: Arrow keys for movement+jumping, stay still in order to power jump Space to flip nearby switch P to pause Esc to ESCAPE!

Special notices: This is a monogame build but I'm not sure if it works on mac or linux as well, you can always try ;)

Like the graphics and mood! Gameplay was a bit unobvious at the start, but then I figured things out. Also, Terry is a bit tough. :)

Cool music but the level 1 is way too difficult compared to the two others, badteddy throw too many projectile too x). But yeah, good work dude :)

Amazing graphics and sound effects, reminds me a lot of some older games. Really fun to play, but a little bit too difficult.

movement feels clunky and unintuitive, could definitely work on smoothing that out

The font is really hard to read :(

The bubbles are really annoying, it's hard to predict their movement and the stun is frustrating.

I beat the game, took awhile to figure out how to play, even after the reading the instructions, but I got it in the end. It's pretty easy once you figure out how to bounce Terry between switches. I liked the art style and music, very reminiscent of old DOS games.

I like the concept! Simple enough to understand and pretty hard to beat :)

Bonus points for the retro audio and visuals.

Took me time to really get the game, the text is hard to read. The idea is nice, it is very simple but well executed and nicely polished.

This was a bit hard to understand. So if you turn off the switches, why is the city still draining of power? Music is pretty good though and animations are really cool. Platforming controls are a bit stiff and difficult to control.

Very fun game! It was a little hard at first but then I got the hang of it. The graphics and audio are really good too. Congrats!

@randomphantom what happens is that your house powers the whole city (for plot purposes) which makes it so that the city drains if not powered ^^
I know it doesn't make sense but it seemed like a fun idea :P

Thank you for your game! But I don't understand what I should do, I tried to flip all switches to off. On the first two this worked, but after the third the battery stood stil but I lost the game..
But the music was nice! :0)

An .exe doesn't natively work on either linux or osx.

The concept is nice, his attacks feel like complete RNG though, so he can easily screw you over and stunlock you a bit without the player getting the chance to do anything.

The bubbles are also a bit hard to avoid, but other than that the controls are nice.

The art is pretty neat, everything is wobbly haha.

The music feels a little cheap, however it blends rather well into the game.

All in all a solid entry..
oh i forgot to mention:

Everything after level 1 can glitch up, with no possible way for the creature to drain power. You can just sit there and watch..
