Is it just me of does gamejolt not work in firefox very well? I saw another gamejolt that didn't load in firefox too. Works in chrome though...

the art is lovely and the level design bring a maze feel, i like it, make it a challenge to find the satan statue. The controller felt a bit weird a first (specially in slopes) but after a little while i learned how to take advantage of that!

Muito bom! A pixel art ficou maravilhosa, a estética casou muito bem e o cenário. Só faltou uma trilha sonora mais envolvente.

Fun game, some of the platforming bits felt a little tedious and inconsistent (namely sometimes you'd jump normally and sometimes you'd get a "super jump") to get across, but otherwise fairly straightforward on how to overcome the obstacles.

There was a section on the third level that looked like the terrain wasn't texturing along the edge properly (it all was just the blank blue brick right up to the edge, no red flecks like other edges), not sure if that was intended or a bug.

This is really good! I love the art style and overall tone of the game. So far one of my favourite variations of the "sacrifice your health" mechanic, I thought it was very well executed! I also quite like the blood particle effects for when you attack, that was a nice detail. Overall, great work! :)

I like it a lot! I played two levels already and just lost on the third one, but while I had some trouble understanding what's going on and how I lose health but now I can manage just fine, so I'm going to play more. I gave you 4.5 Overall and was pondering over giving 5.0, since it was very enjoyable. I take it that the controls are much smoother on desktop version, though, because the web version was unreliable in terms of jump for example. But I noticed a lot of web versions are kinda laggy. Btw as a comment for your level design, I got lost on the third level (for now), but all the other ones (I mean 1. and 2.) were easy to navigate.

Enjoyed the game. Didn't relise the first part would kill you it might have been better to add some fire etc to show you die when you fall from it. The controls would have been better closer together aswell on keyboard. Good work overall i really like the visuals.

The controls felt pretty good, and the game looks amazing. I feel like there should have been a way to regen health without firing (maybe there was?) - I know the core mechanic is "sacrifice either health or ammo", but having to shoot an extra time at a bat when the bullet didn't track it - didn't feel like a sacrifice, it just felt a bit unrewarding.

I did like that eventually start to think "maybe I'll just not kill this person to save some health"... but then again, where's the fun in that ;)

I like the idea of the game, it suits the theme really nicely! The graphics are great!
