OVERCHARGE by Jonas Tyroller
A physics based tower defense game without the ability to build any towers.


Gameplay
You can overcharge turrets which makes them deal additional damage for a period of time. Unfortunately it also destroys them.
Sacrifices must be made.

Just a heads-up that there is no link on your itch.io page back to here so it was a little extra effort to come and rate it.
The graphics are simple, and works very well with the game. Still, I think a few touches are missing, such as a background, perhaps SFXs on the lasers ...
Overall, I had a blast, losing was not frustrating as I was learning the spawn pattern of each level, figuring out a strategy.
Awesome work !
I liked how you introduced one new turret type per level and kept the mechanics pretty straightforward. Valid strategies seem to emerge organically from the unpredictability of the enemy physics and you did a great job balancing that.
