Sounds and music are nice and the game seems well put together. I like your level designs, though they seem a bit long. If there were a couple checkpoints spread throughout the levels they would be much better in my opinion. The decision of which part of the ship to lose is impactful and well designed. I also liked the different enemy types introduced throughout the levels. Overall a good jam game

Good job on the game. I liked the idea you were going for and some of the variety in the levels. I feel like this game could have benefited from shorter levels, a better indication of what you were sacrificing at the end of each level, and some more player feedback on when you hit an enemy or got hit. Overall nicely done.

Very cool idea. I think the slimes took too long to hit though, as it made me want to just run straight through without even shooting. Nice job on the game!

Your sprite work is top notch, the game looks very good! I think in terms of phasing the enemies should perhaps die a little faster, or have other attacks that make them a little bit more interresting because now I just avoided the enemies through the level and got to the next one fairly easily. I can see you put a lot of effort into the levels and there are of course multiple enemy types but I think you could have done more with less here. I think you could make the levels smaller/shorter for example. Very nice entry nonetheless!

Well done on the game concept. As others have said, the levels were unneccesarily long and the game experience took an impact when you died and had to restart all the way from the beginning.

I think that the rockets should not collide with the bullets from the enemies because they were not very useful because of their speed, you were not able to easily launch a rocket and then move away so the enemies wouldn't hit the rocket.

The game concept is working and you have some variation in the levels and enemies but the gameplay is pretty much the same, good job overall.

I hope I will be the 20th note. I enjoyed the music it reminded me the oldest dragon quest when you are in dungeon (is it a reference of Koichi Sugiyama composer of this series?). In any case that was fun too. And there is a good level design(vicious). So I had a good feeling.

Oof.. losing speed is disasterous :P

@lyrcaxis It definitely gets way harder, but as long as you don't lose your warp you should be somewhat okay.
