Nice! It bugs out a few times and doesn't do anything after you buy something, but it fixes itself eventually.
I like the concept, but I think it needs a bit more design. It becomes repetitive quickly.

@laylow, I agree more content would be great! I'm looking forward to adding onto this project after the jam.

Like the game, good concept, would love to see what this can become!

Its a simple but good game. Music and SFX would've be nice. If you build it out it could be a funny cookie clicker kind of game

Nice concept and it really fits the theme. It becomes a little repetitive after some time, so maybe adding more content/different challenge would improve the gameplay :)

It becomes pretty repetitive a bit too soon but otherwise great work.

Simple idea and funny. The scope is very small, I feel like there could be a bit more gameplay. Am I supposed to just stack everything on top of each other? In that case the game becomes trivial super quickly. Always feels good to earn a lot of money tho so meh.

quoting @simon-stalhandske, just stack everything on top (without even moving stuff, just purchasing) and you got a normal clicker, thus making the main mechanic of moving stuff around completely useless.

since this is the main mechanic (and a really good one) you should find a way to use it properly

good job tho

3 Years ago I had a virus on my PC doing the same thing. Spawning and copying data to infinity the flashbacks during your game where somehow terrifying ;)

Back to the game:
It is a nice concept but it needs some more time and contend to work completely. Some visual feedback like the amount of money from the essay or the possibility to upgrade your work would be great. As well as having Music and sound. I stacked all the folders, data, app stores on each other and the game runs at its own. Not sure if this is intended...
But overall good start to build up on :)

Very cool idea. One issue I found was that you could just stack items and make it easy, but I guess that ruins the fun :)

That's an interesting way to innovate in the clicker game type. There is something I found strange, the graphics when I played are not the same in your screenshots (on Itch.io, I have graphisms in gray-level and the bank is a sprite where it's written "Bank").

Looks like my life, man.

...but without AppStore :D
