Not as good as the other one, but still cute and poetic. And perfect timing because I really need to sleep by now. Thank you for that cute moment, and well done. :)

Not my kind of game or experience, though I understand how your game fits the theme.
I did enjoy the relaxing music.
Good job.

Very nice mood. I got stuck on the part where the music changed and wasn't sure if that was the end or not.

Nice little game, sometimes quite dark thoughts. I found it a bit boring as there wasn't much to do.

@svntax - Thanks for trying our game! There were a few careless bugs that caused the game to become stuck in some cases -- they should be fixed now though. Sorry about that!

Two games instead of one? I didn't even realise that was possible! And both of them are some of the finest I've played this dare... That is seriously impressive!

The mood in this one is excellent, and though it has some disturbingly familiar moments, I appreciate that the ending manages to find a balance between light and dark. I thoroughly enjoyed this game!

I loved the concept. If my subconscious ever made a game I'm sure it would play like this. Parts hit a little close to home. Mood was extra cute and well-executed. Beautiful sound effects and visuals. Music was ok. I thought the story was kinda short and the gameplay was a bit repetitive. Clear link to the theme, too. Overall this game sets a wonderful atmosphere and and the story, while short and a little non-interactive, makes this game really interesting, especially when supported by gorgeous art and sounds.

I adore this game. The story is relatable, the visuals are nice, the music track is simple.

The game works to simulate a mind wandering before sleeping because of three things:

1. Thoughts are constantly moving, shifting, overlapping, and so you have to wait until the "active" thought moves into a visible space. I found myself activating a thought without reading the whole thing first. That's something a racing mind might do before sleep comes.
2. The need to wait means that thoughts come slowly.
3. You can see the whole story on screen, but you don't quite know the order in which thoughts will become active.

Yes, it is a "simple" game in that the story is basically linear and all you do is click on sheep in a certain order. But its unfair to be so reductive toward experiences of this sort. One cannot discount the effect of the story being told, the color and visual style, the sound effects and music. All of those things strengthen the core interaction, which is itself made more interesting by the movement and overlapping of the sheep, and not "just clicking".

Using continuous x/y transforms and Z-order to symbolize a scattered, racing/wandering mind. That's cool.

If this game is to be expanded, I think all it needs is just a variety of narratives. More than just a narrative about a student fretting over his/her immediate future.

Oh my goodness, this hit me in the chest. I've been there, lying awake, with spiraling thoughts and frustration. There was a time during college where this was me, and oh my. It brought me right back to it.

It is simple, and it is simply clicking sheep - and I did find I had to wait for some of the sheep to meander somewhere I could click - but I think the emotion it invokes makes up for it.

A really good job guys!

Very thoughtful game. The simple random movement mechanic effectively simulated the wondering thoughts that keep you up at night. The subtle text transitions and simple animations help set the mood. The story is relatable, and I liked that the gameplay itself revealed the story. I thought something sinister was going to happen, but I'm glad it didn't go down that route.

Very well made this game. I enjoyed playing through it to the end. It was a bit slow at time when there were really too many sheep and you just had to sit and wait for a while before you even saw the right one. So the theme might not have been optimal driven to that length there if you ask me. I think I would have preferred to have a maximum number of sheep around 12(?) and then for the more difficult nights to keep populate with new sheep as you click them away.

Out of the blue. It might also have been cool if some sheep were not your thoughts and were not meant to be clicked. But maybe that would just have been confusing.

Man this one gave me some feelings! Great music, great sound design, and the emotional arc was really strong. I love how the music subtly changed in each segment corresponding to the tone of the thoughts too. Simple gameplay, but it's appropriate to the theme of the game and it works, so I'm not even sure if I should recommend changing anything - it's just a really tight experience. Great work! :D

The game is really cool.
I didn't expect anything and it worked pretty good. I didn't expect a story-driven game to fit the game that much.
It's a pretty clever way to keep your player attention. I love how you used the theme for this.

Also woaw, you made two games !!
Do you have guys have a twitter, looking forward for your next games !

Very charming little game. As opposed to your other LD40 entry, this focuses less on the gameplay and more on the theme's implementation in the writing which is also very interesting and I had a good time playing through it. Also, I'm still amazed by how you managed to make two games for the Jam with this level of polish. Good job!

Loved the narrative here! Sometimes the sheep did have z-ordering issues but other than that I had a good time with it. Thanks for the story!

Really nice game. It's an interesting way of telling a surprisingly relatable story and is overall very charming. The audio and visuals are both top notch and set the mood well. The only weak point is the "gameplay". That obviously wasn't the focus, but I still wish there was a bit more in terms of interactivity.

At first, I was just thinking "This is a cute little game." Then it got darker. Then it got even more relatable. Then it got to the ending. I loved this. Not normally the type of game I'd go for, but I enjoyed it a lot. Keep it up!

I didn't think I was going to enjoy this but I really did. I found it intriguing and was quickly sucked in by the narrative. Great stuff.

Most polished LD entry I played so far! The only little distracting thing was sudden changes in sheep z-index (sheep popping in front of others) and left-right orientation changes. (Not sure how to solve it - maybe with fade-out-fade-in?)

Great (and relatable) story, which reads like poetry, complemented by fitting graphics and music with subtle sfx.

This is very much my type of game and it's the one that reminded me the most of my entry.

It's a beautiful cute little game with a heart warming narrative. The change in music as the mood in the dialogue changes is perfect, it made me wish I had the means to the same in my narrative game. You've made two really polished games for the jam with amazing music, visuals, gameplay and narrative so, I know I'm repeating myself but, I'm looking forward to more games from you guys.

A really nice game, taking counting sheep but combining it with the CONSTANT BARRAGE OF INTRUSIVE THINKING that comes with trying to sleep was a really good idea. The game was a bit simple (is it possible to lose?) not that, that matters. The music was pleasant and the look of the game was great!

The music is interesting and I like the graphical feedback when you click on the menu items and sheep. Impressive that you made this and the other one so quickly! The music on some of the later levels feels weird, but it's just a mood thing I think.

Simple and nice little game. Fantastic music and mood, also really fits the theme.

The only thing that bothered me a bit is often the sheep that was lit up that I was supposed to click was often hidden under other sheep and I had to wait for them to move around before I could progress.

I otherwise really liked this! Great job

Probably one of the most emotional games I have played here. At first I didn't pay too much attention to the story, only to realize the theme is actually quite dark and the gameplay reflects well the state of mind of the main character.

On the downside, I thought this gameplay was rather minimalist and the game was short. Maybe you could have added some challenge like having the "right" thought randomly jumping to another sheep, or sheeps with varying speed and color. But I can consider this is as a "conceptual" game where the most important is to keep the gameplay close to feelings. Also, I liked the mood change given by the music, maybe this could have been reflected on the graphic side too.
