Necromancy by N4tticus

You play as a necromancer! Killing souls refills your power. In order to kill souls you must expend your power by casting magic shots using the mouse. Each soul you kill grants additional experience. With enough experience you level up, gaining a new perk point to spend that improves your magic. Along your journey, you'll also encounter equippable items that drop on the ground, so be sure to check your inventory often with the E button. At any point in the game you can create a new dungeon by pressing the ENTER button. This will not reset your progress, and you can continue playing as the same character. If you get stuck, the ~ button will restart the game.

The only thing I notice is a problem with the window size - this may be a feature, but I was confused to see such a seemingly infinitely large window.
Works best on resolution 1920 x 1080
This is a tough game, those enemies are relentless! Cool upgrade and weapons system. Nice work!
* dying despite constantly fighting and not missing shots
* enemies completely ignoring the terrain
* ridiculous swarming as a result of them ignoring the terrain and magically knowing where you are at all times
That all said, a random dungeon generator, inventory and stats system is a lot to cram into 48 hours. So it's understandable that there's less polish elsewhere. I would suggest focusing harder on game play in future jams over cramming in features. I never even got to experience the inventory system simply because I'd get swarmed and die over and over again or kill myself by defending myself.
Lastly, mostly because I forgot. The application froze during startup several times.
but it's impossible to restart with french AZERTY keyboard
also for unknow reason the screen is GIGANTIC (2 time my dual screen setup width)
I thought it was really hard! I got items a few times but died before reaching them every single time. The SFX could have been quieter I thought, they were quite jarring.
By the way its probably a bad idea to use the "~" key to restart because there are some keyboards like mine that miss that key.
Also at some point you get so much mana regen that its impossible to loose, you should ramp up the difficulty curve there maybe with more enemies or more powerful ones.
But considering you did all that in java i have to say well played.
The close connection between monsters and the necromancer means, that it sometimes seems a bit random whether you are able to succeed or not. Sometimes too few or too many monsters spawn, which usually leads to the necromancer's demise. I also experienced some screen-scaling issues on my two-screen setup.
It would probably have been worth it to spend a little more time on balancing the game :) But you've clearly made a very ambitious game, with an impressive amount of features! :)
