Memory Battle by Abhijeet Dani

made by Abhijeet Dani for LD 41 (JAM)

This game combines tower defense and card matching memory game genres. Your tower is under attack from Monstrous looking skulls that scream like hell when attacked. You have to match pair of cards and equip them in you inventory. Once a card is in your inventory you can drag it onto the grids and strategically place your attack or defense. Match all pairs before the skulls get you. Screen Shot 2018-04-23 at 4.12.06 PM.png

Fun game! I suck at memory problems so this is a good exercise for me :P I like how fast paced it is and you not only have to keep track of the images and their positions but also play a tower defense at the same time ... So yeah ... the multitasking is huge!
There is no clear explanation of what the items do so you have to learn as you play ... that being said I think this is a cool game to play!

@Mordokay Thanks for playing our game and leaving a feedback! I am glad you enjoyed it :) Yes, in the instructions we have just mentioned that you can attack, defend and repair with the cards. A more clear explanation might definitely be useful as the game is fast paced. Will keep that feedback in mind :) Thanks once again.

You should add a link indicating the game can be ran in browser (HTML5).

Interesting idea. I didn't find it too fun though.

@Flameo326 Added the html link! Thanks for the feedback. Will add some more tuning and more variety of card types. Hopefully that should make it more fun :)

Another memory game! Fun concept. I enjoyed playing, but whoah that is quite a hectic memory game!
The multi-tasking is quite hard. At first I didn't know that I couldn't have more than 3 active/playable cards, so I just thought the game was broken. Maybe some visuals and sound could help there. It seemed that when I clicked 'replay' that I kept the old monsters but also got new ones, making it really hard.

Well done!
