It has a really old-school feel to it, the graphics are A+. The game glitches a lot though, especially with collisions and attacks. I don't understand the objective very well, is it to survive the longest? Everything else is great.

Really nice graphics and the random generation was cool. Unfortunately I got a bug where enemies turned invisible and kept hurting me, while I couldn't see them. Also is the time machine supposed to do something when you feed it coins? Because it didnt anything for me.

Wish I could've gotten the intended experience, because other than the bugs it was really cool :). Awesome take on the theme!

Nice entry. the pixel art is very good. But i didnt feel that i was running out of space. Maybe the lava could rise faster. But overall a very well excuted entry

I thought it was great! Especially the art! I particularly liked the Gobb spawn animation where they come out of the ground. I had the bug where the enemies disappeared but kept hitting me also it wasn't that clear to me what the objective was. It took me a while to realize I had the coin in my hands when I walked over it, and I read another comment about putting them in the machine. So when I tried that out and got 2 coins in there I was very excited to get to the next level and the whole environment changing!

It was tricky to get the coins in the machine, I had to jump and drop the coin at the right time for it to register as being in there, otherwise it registered as me picking it up again. I think I would have preferred it if when I jumped into the machine with the coin in my hand it registered as being collected. Also it would be helpful if we could slash while jumping, sometimes I was stuck in a hole that was too deep and couldn't get out. (Although I did figure out pretty late that double jumping exists).

All in all, I thought it was super nice! :smile:

Graphics were very nice, though the whole thing was a little too buggy for me to really enjoy. Mainly enemies turning invisible, and some odd collision bugs. Still, good work, just maybe not for me

I really liked the pixel and the fact that you wrote a random level generator! Well done! The combat is a little lacking, I frequently had trouble killing enemies that were right on top of me. They also disappeared occasionally.

Pretty good game!

Fun game. The art is good, the music is good (although it can get a bit repetitive after a few mins), the level generation is awesome, and the varying level aesthetics is very welcomed.

The combat controls don't feel very responsive, I'm never too sure if I'm hitting an enemy or getting hit. I also feel this game is in serious need of the ability to attack while midair so you can make more pathways, or otherwise get over a ledge that is just too high. Also, what does X do? I've noticed it hurts me, and doing it enough time gets me killed :S. I also noticed a bug where enemies would sometimes disappear, I suspect your enemy's and background layers are conflicting (didn't affect my gameplay too much).

Besides the combat mechanics, the game was pretty solid!

Short but cute. Art and movement are great, combat is confusing or at least for me it is hard to get feel of how each of two strikes work. I wouldn't mind if you needed to gather more than two coins to move on, too easy this way. Time machine looks nice in particular.

I enjoyed it. :3 As other comments mentioned, putting coins into the machine was somewhat hard, but I guess it was a part of the challenge. Other than that, the gameplay felt good and polished for a jam game. Awesome art and pleasant sounds as well. Great job!
