Deadwood by kardfogu
Hello everyone, Kardfogú's here!
This is my fourth solo jam so far, as I previously mentioned I normally work under the flags of Creative Sectors - check them out, they are awesome -, but we decided to - again - release two distinct entries.
Gameplay tips: /* You'll really need them if you want to finish fast! */
- your character has multiple forms, you can change them outside of combat as well
- the werewolf form has stronger physical attacks
- the vampiric bat form learns high life and mana syphon effects and has a much higher chance to dodge
- save really often
Let me continue with the special thanks:
- My grandma, becase she is the best and she fed during this 3 day and in general kept me alive. She is awesome.
- Kittens all over the world, 'cause kittens.
The latest+3 generation RPG, Deadwood brings everyone the absolute best RPG experience ever. Released for windows and consoles so new they don't even exist, Deadwood continues - actually it doesn't have anything in common with - the Slashalot saga with a not so epic story to behold.
/*This time the narrative is almost non-existent.*/
Play as Xerot, an undead druid and do good-ish stuff!
Lastly, but not least importantly, I can't release a Ludum Dare project without its anti-features.
Anti-Features:
- Actual gameplay! My second Ludum Dare entry with combat system.
- Wondrous items of might and magic, or at least they kinda exist in the files!
- There are no mythologically accurate - that is to say underdressed - female monsters this time, my apologies. We might later add that in a post-LD version.
- Really low quality sounds and music!
- Non-animated grass, because I was lazy this time!
- Quite-linear not-so-open world-ish gameplay!
- Secret ending!
- The base game includes some recolored enemies as well!
