Pixel-art 8-bit sound remake of the classic Chinese Game of Go on a 5x5 grid.

How to play

  1. Build a base in an empty place.
  2. Pass the computer to the other player.
  3. To score, surround the biggest territory.
  4. To destroy, surround the enemy base.
  5. More detailed rules of Go.
  6. There is no AI to the scoring, so if you want the score to be accurate, capture all the dead pieces before ending.

Seems fun and even though I have never played Go i learned how to play this game.
I could not finish the game though.

@adam-trzeszczak You're right. Now you can end the game. Scoring isn't smart to recognize dead pieces, yet you can capture them and then end the game and see the score.

Pretty fancy reskin on Go. I'm glad you went with a 5x5 grid cuz it does change the feel of the game quite a bit and convinces you it's an entirely different setting. It did confuse me why the game didn't end once it hit the win condition but I played it out anyways with my friend and got to the win screen.

Fun theme based on Cappies&Commmies but using the mechanic of Go. 5X5 scale makes the game easier for players who don't know Go well.

Though I don't quite understand the sacrifices. I found this game very fun and interesting, and the graphics were pretty nice!
