Always love a good twin stick shooter, though I did eventually lose due to the round not ending when I finished off the last robot. Perhaps they got stuck off screen. Overall I felt that it was well executed, but you could have done a little more with the theme and mechanics. One type of enemy plus a boss (At least as far as I could progress) got stale.

Additionally the use of the theme served more as an annoyance. I would just slowly be draining and the enemies wouldn't drop enough batteries to stay alive.

Presentation, sound, and graphics were done very well!

Very good! I think the strongest aspect of this game is the sound design. It gave the weapons a lot of "oomph" and made killing robots feel very rewarding. One thing I would like to see if you continue to update this game is more weapons!

Very cool, it played well. Was the gun always supposed to be firing?

@mmason Yes the guns (four types) all auto fire. Throw back to SmashTV.

Some pros/cons from my experience:

Pros
- I reallllly like the sound!
- I also liked the graphics a lot and the different particle effects
- Game play mechanics were smooth

Cons
- I died after the round was over like @kleinzach
- Simple balancing things are needed, also like @kleinzach mentioned

Overall I think yall did a fantastic job! Things to add if development continues: More enemies, more weapons and possibly armor/power-ups

The music and sound effects are great, the explosion effect looks very cool and overall the game is very fun. I especially liked that mine-gun. However the boss battle was too hectic and I was unable to see distinguish the enemies, and also my character kept getting slower over time and I assume this is a bug.

Good job :)

Pretty fun twin-stick shooter! I liked the destruction and the easy controls. I felt the audio was a bit loud though...

The graphics and sounds were really good. i didnt really like the bullets, they were too slow and sometimes it was difficult to aim. But overall excellent

Neat little game. The synergy between audio and what's going on on the screen is really good. Sucked me right in. An option to switch weapons would've been nice!

This is a pretty solid shooter, I liked that the character had a nice weight to their movement. I'd prefer to be able to control the shooting myself but the fire rate and power worked well anyway. This was on the difficult side for me but I think that was intended. The enemies spawned often and moved quickly, which made for apretty constant onslaught. Sometimes I couldn't tell the debris from the live enemies, which again added to the difficulty but not in the most ideal way. Nice use of the theme for the visuals, though not much beyond that. The graphics were very nice though, good touches with the lighting and effects. The music was pretty catchy too and fit the gameplay.

If you continue development, it would be nice to just see more content; more gun types, power-ups, etc. It probably does need an extra gimmick though to help it stand out more from other shooters.

Seems pretty good. Overall I liked it but there were a few things that could be tightened up. Not exactly sure why but the aiming felt just a bit off. I think it may have been projectile speed. If there had been a hitscan weapon perhaps it would have felt a bit more on point. Either that or being able to choose when to shoot could have helped as well. I also encountered a game ending bug where I had killed all the enemies but no more enemies spawned and the wave didn't clear. It was 1 or 2 levels after the first boss wave. Not sure if it is reproducable but just letting you know it is there.

Other than that though, I thought the graphics were fine (better than most), sound effects were great (until there were no more enemies and I was just confused going pew pew pew forever =P.) Music was good without being overbearing. Overall very solid.

I finally ended the game with a score of 3,240. My guess is that I hit the last round, because enemies stopped spawning and I died from lack of energy because there were no more enemies to destroy. At the end, I got a really cool scatter-shot weapon but unfortunately there were no enemies to try it on. Of the weapons that I was able to try, I found the mines to be the least useful: You really want long range in this game or you're doomed. Hitting the enemies was difficult though, since my shots usually went to the left of where I was aiming. I like the 3D pixel-ish style. Overall, a fun game :)

Pretty fun game! I really like the fact that even though the gameplay can get a bit chaotic, you can still understand what's going on and get proper visual feedback. Good job!

Sleek game, controls are spot on and the voxel look works very well to set the mood, I enjoyed it!

Really impressed with this. Solid polished gameplay and it actually kept surprising me with the (albeit glitchy) boss and extra weapons. Well done!
