Energetic music, and fun game. Catching with the tail is harder than it looks!

Such a great game!I really enjoyed playing it :) Everything about the game is well thought out and it was executed beautifully. Looking forward to seeing more from you in the future

I love the "tail - mechanic". It feels really good!

I love the music and it was pretty fun. Could hardly stand one minute on the boards, blue balls don't let you move after a while.

I am impressed by how good you were able to make the tail feel, and the level of overall polish! The bombs are well telegraphed and the little bit of magnetism on the batteries makes surviving more enjoyable.

Looks excellent. The graphics is good looking, and works nicely in such dynamic action. The explosions are very nice, and the other graphics is good too. Nice little game -- it stops a little too soon though, but great work anyway.

For a wacky physics driven game it was surprisingly easy to control. Good job!

Wow this was hard but fun once you got the *swing* of it! ;P
Got 72 seconds as best

Wow! Creative and energetic game. The music suits the gameplay. Controls are smooth. It's nice to look at, very well polished for a compo game!

Not my type of game. But that said, very well executed, congrats. I like the way of interacting with objects only through indirect control.

I think the idea of collection the batteries with your tail is a really cool idea, it's simple but adds a lot to the game :)

I think I am quite bad because my best score was like 40 seconds :D

Anyway, chain mechanics are quite interesting, though hard to grasp. Music was very climatic and graphics good enough for such a game.

Good job!

Very fun game ! Quite complex movement too. Had fun playing it, well done !

Feels pretty weird to play, but it's a lot of fun.

The graphics are good and the music and SFX are as well. No complaints here.

The gameplay needs some getting used to. I felt like I had no control whatsoever when I began playing, but then I think I got the hang of it. Collecting batteries feels pretty good, but what annoyed me was that you cannot do anything about the blue enemies. They are just there to be in your way and after a while way too many of them are on the board at the same time.

Overall it's a pretty fun use of the physics system and really good.

It feels really good, especially the swinging tail. Took me quite a while to stop trying to collect batteries with the "head" and not the tail

Very nice! I used the "swinging" mechanic for my entry as well, but went in different directions. Always nice to see how people come up with different ideas :)

Had a problem with the WebGL version thought. Only saw black when I started the game. The battery and Menu was shown but as soon as the game started only Black until the battery would run out and then some read would appear just before dying.

This is really great! Took me a while to get the hang of the swing mechanic, but it's a really nice twist on the standard 'billiards' gameplay style.

Graphically it's pretty gorgeous, love the models, and the use of Unity's lighting engine in there. Controls are solid, and the audio is that nice mix of relaxing-yet-frantic :)

Great entry, congrats!

It's harder than expected, but was fun to play it. Light rendering does a great visual job. Congrats!

Super fun game, the controls were easy, but also challenging. My best time was 103 seconds, an online high score would have been really cool for this game. If you had an ability to deal with those blue creatures, either kill them or knock them back, it'd make the later parts of the game a bit more interesting.

Very nice work, I haven't seen many games utilise that kind of swinging physics for a weapon before. 39 seconds was my best score. It seems to get overwhelming pretty quickly, but it plays vey nicely, the visuals and music are cool too, I enjoyed it!

Delighful. The character's body shape made it a lot more dynamic. Good job!

@avon Indeed an online highscore sheet would be awesome! Maybe I'll look into that so I have an idea how to add it next time! I agree with your second point as well, I wasn't sure what to do and decided instead of adding a new feature to just polish. Thanks for the feedback!

@zelos Thanks! I considered adding holes in the corners for the blue guys to fall into when the board filled up, but didn't get around to it in the 48 hours.

Good game, I liked the music, the controls were a little floaty for my taste, but it added to the challenge.

1) My town started testing the tornado sirens during my first attempt at playing... that gave me a good scare!

2) I really really liked the game play! I could see this being a 4 player party game where players are pitted against each other to stay alive the longest (seriously add multiplayer please). Great job!

That was extremely fun gameplay. Figuring out the mechanics of the player was a little tricky at first but once you got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing from there. Great job and the audio and art work were tops!

Super impressive entry! Nice lighting and models, and the physics are pretty darn believable ;) It's pretty hard swinging that tail around, which made the blue guys and the bombs secondary elements I didn't consider much... but it's pretty flawless otherwise! Great job! I'm planning on uploading a video and I recorded some gameplay of this, can I upload it?

@fusionnist Wow thank you for the kind words! Absolutely, feel free to upload some footage. I'm currently adding a few small features for a new version - namely a leaderboard and maybe multiplayer. Stay tuned!

Interesting. This taught me something about player movement. Unfortunately that's because I thought having your movement restricted by the blue guys was really frustrating, but it was an experiment and I learned something from it. The graphics are very good for an LD game. I liked the title music, not so much the in-game.

The menu screen was very confusing. The selected text is almost the same shade as the unselected text, and even then I expected the brighter one to be the selected item. It took me a while to actually get into the game.

I found it pretty much impossible to keep track of how much battery I had. The indicator should probably be around the character, because I couldn't take my eyes away from the screen to look at the meter.

Well done!

haha that was an excellent arena game! and the use of wolfram tunes was spot on.
Graphics were so so cute, and seriously polished, you know your stuff!
Had a lot of fun for about 3 games. After that I kept wanting a reason to play, some goal, some variety, a penalty to mix things up? Lovely work, and multiplayer would suuure be nice

Very well polished game with simple to grasp gameplay. Controls work great both on gamepad and keyboard. Got to 53 secs, then there were too many blues and I couldn't squeeze through.

2 minor bugs I've encountered:
- after a while I couldn't start a new game with my gamepad, at first it worked just fine.
- sometimes my chain disappears (maybe goes under the floor? maybe bomb blows it off?) and then movement speed is reduced.

For a compo it's a very solid entry, keep it up. Cheers!

Takes a little time to get use to swinging that mouse tail around but once you get that mechanic now you can start surviving those mass onslaught of enemies after around 20 much easier. The sfx and music is well done and the graphics fit the game wonderfully, overall a great little time waster! :D

Good job in making FUNNY game!

I loved the:
- Controller
- Art
- Music
- The blue things
- The VFX was really nice
- The UI was in place

Everything was perfect for this game, I played on keyboard, and can't imagine how fun it will be with the controller. This game will either be a win for the jam, or with some polish will be seen on Nintendo switch ;)

Neat game. Fairly well polished, nice art and audio. Gameplay was a little difficult and I believe my tail got stuck a couple times. Also, as someone stated before me, the blue enemies were a bit of nuisance. But overall a very good submission.
