Pixelate! by iceflakeftw
You are the only few pixels alive on a blacked out screen. Get to the goal, but a sacrifice is inevitable. Dispose some of your pixels to make platform and get to the goal.

This is my first LDJam. I had to travel and could start only today. This is my humble submission, made in 4 hours, only 3 levels (didnt do level design also, but will be updating it). Do let me know your comments.
Enjoy the game.
Controls
Arrow keys - to move
Up arrow - to jump
Space - to sacrifice some of your pixels and make a platform

Game was very playable. I was trying to use the AWSD keys to move and could't jump but I founded out that you need to use the arrows LOL. Overall good implementation of the sacrificing mechanic, sounds were nice. The giant controls UI were very much needed, thanks for that!

very smooth and intuitive gameplay. Sound was good but music was missing. It actually took me a bit to figure out what I had to do lol, maybe a bit more hints as to what the goal is for numbskulls like me would help.

The controls are hard to work with. It feels like I'm sliding on ice whenever I land on a platform. Other than that, the game makes sense.

The concept works very well for the theme, and despite the small amount of time you had, this seems like the beginning of a game that could be pretty interesting. Controls were waaaay too slidey, tho. And the black screen background meant I was having some trouble keeping straight where the boundaries of the play field were. I would also have liked if the level started over automatically after I died.
