I really like to play your game! Its fun but the care feels like its on ice. Very hard to get the controls right.

Well executed game! It has potential, and looks and feels good, though the small lvl size make the game feel very repetitive, cause you usualy just drive the same way, in the same maner, in the same loop!

Cool Game and nice genre mix. Steering wasn't all that easy, but that's probably just a keyboard thing.

Very nice visuals! I liked the bit at the start, set the mood nicely. The controls are a bit weird, at least I can't seem to get used to the way the card accelerates + the turning mechanism. I don't know if constant speed would've helped, or easier directional control, but that's the main problem for me. The levels are well designed, and the guards feel like guards. Genre combination is on point. Very good game with meh controls.

That was a lot of fun! The steering could use some tweaking but it was a lot of fun regardless. Way to go :D

This is fun, rock hard and I love the flavour, the idea that Snek is doing donuts behind the guards' backs is glorious.

Thanks for the feedback so far! I'm glad you're (mostly) enjoying it.

Yeah, car controls are a bit weird. Honestly once things stopped randomly clipping through the walls or doing unintentional drift physics I decided not to touch it again! I think there needs to be some difficulty in navigating the car for the shtick, but it shouldn't manifest itself in a frustrating way. :crying_cat_face:

It was cool and great themes to merge! Second level was the hardest for me %)

That got really hard, I got to the level where two guys were going back and forth between two lines and one patrolling the middle, I guess you're supposed to kite them out with the horn but I couldn't get the hang of it. Wish I could change that level to easy mode without having to redo every stage before it D: Good job though, was fun, and good combo of themes.

@tifu Damn, you were so close to the end! Yeah, that level isn't great because you need to reverse back out. I wish I had added a new enemy type (searchlights or something) rather than that wonky level design.

Great concept and good execution, the graphic set the mood really well! Maybe the controls scheme is a bit uncomfortable, especially because the overall car physics needs a bit more friction or larger corridors...but I deeply enjoyed the experience :)

really great game and combination.
there's just the controls that i find a little bit "weirs" (like use one hand to the direction and the other to the speed).

This was really well done! The graphics and audio really pulled it together. I think the gameplay was fun but I never got good enough with the car that I could reliably follow one path like I wanted to. It made the track more like a long, drawn out chase for me. That's just my ineptitude, though, and I think that mechanically this was a really sound entry. Great work!

Fun idea and fun to play I think would be more interesting to have the car driving a bit more realistic namely you cannot turn in place. Also is relatively easy to get ai stuck in the wall. All in all cool game, and solid effort.

Hard to play for me because on German keyboards, Y and Z are swapped. ;)
Also, the sounds at the beginning of a round are really loud and unpleasant. But looks good and plays well enough.

That's funny, this morning I really struggled with my motivation to work, all I wanted was to play MGS V. Since I couldn't start to work I decided to spend some useful time rating some LD games ... and the first one I run into is yours :).
And I'm glad I did because it was a great entry, very well polished and fun concept, a good lifespan ... and really challenging (maybe because there is too much inertia with the controls). Amazing work !

I'm so sorry, @Vinterskog. If I had used the default unity controls it would have been fine but I hardcoded them. Wasn't thinking. :(

@polegar thanks! Glad it arrived at a good time!

I agree with the comments about the controls. It being fiddly to control is partly the point, but this should be achieved through you being in a car, and not the car itself handling like a hot mess!

Very goodlooking game.

 What I loved
* Graphics & the animated background
* Mix of genres

:thought_balloon: My thoughts:
* Steering felt a bit clunky when speeding really hard
* No azerty :/ so that's probably a reason why it was weird for me
* Too much damage when hitting a wall I felt like. People like to go fast and I don't think it should punished this hard
* 2nd level was the hardest instead of 3rd

All in all cool game!

I really dislike the controls here. On my German keyboard X and Z are far from each other, why can I not simple use the arrow keys to do everything? This and the bad turn rate of the car really kill the fun in this for me.

The graphics and sound are cool and the idea is good as well. I like these kinds of stealth games but I could only get three targets in this game, then when the fourth came up it said game over. I then gave up in frustration.

Good idea but too many annoyances in the implementation. If you could fix this and create another post jam version, I would come back and re-rate your game, it would probably be a better fun score, if you happen to do that, just @gonutz me a comment ;-)

Lovely concept! I included it in my Ludum Dare 41 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k82mDaf7ze8
