Thanks for playing and reviewing !
**Suggestions and comments on improvement:** I think having jump on Space as well would make it a little easier to play (for me at least). And also having a button or a key to press to show previous message / hint would be nice (for example I accidentally on first level skipped through the part about Gargoyles so I had to restart over since I couldn't pull up any hint or anything so didn't know what to do xD). And lastly, the imp blends with background too much, making him like maroon or some other color to make him standout a little would help. I didn't notice the imp right away.
also, is it just me or does the skeleton look like papyrus from the undertale? :O a reference?
p.s. check out my game as well please.
@gagapete Haha, I can't be more happy that you spent so much time on this. Regarding the disappaering bones, I can't tell you, that's strange. Didn't you just pick them up, back on you with 'E' ? Thanks for the comment, and I can't agree more regarding graphics and physics haha
@exr I laughted way too hard on this joke haha, Thanks for playing and commenting !
** Overall **: I am really impressed by how many mechanics you managed to get into your game :) I especially like your gritty humor and that you incoporated a tutorial to teach me the initial ropes of the game :)
** Sound **: Really fitting for the theme
** Graphics **: A fitting style/theme :) (but in full screen they could have been a bit more crisp :D)
** Gameplay **: Really nice concept of throwing your bones away to finish the level (i threw one really far away tho :D), i like the integration of the theme into your gameplay, which makes yourself a limited power resource :D (and after reading the comments i have to try again because i didn't understand that i can pick them up again :D)
a minor thing the game crashed when i wanted to close it :D
Here's some improvement hints.
- When jumping, it's difficult (or impossible idk) to control the skeleton movements.
- The "jumps of death" paths are way more easy than the "throw your bones" ones.
- The graphical assets are way better than the audio ones.
Well, well, well, it seems that we have here a great game :D
Now after reading the comments I see that I could actually pick up the bones. I don't think I saw that mentioned in the dialog at all...
The throwing mechanic was kinda clunky. It took way too long to fill the bar while throwing and it was very inaccurate. You probably have puzzles further along where you need to arc the throw or somehow other control the throwing force but the whole force thing felt unnecessary and needlessly time-consuming during the first parts.
It would also be better if the dialog wouldn't require clicking on the next button instead of just clicking anywhere or pushing any key.
All in all, good job!
