Humans always aims for new discoveries. Their curiosity drives them further into space. You are in charge of a space rover. The comet on which you landed, might have chemical elements known on earth. Find 3 different samples and report back to NASA. But be careful to not run out of power, you can recharge your battery only in the sunlight.

Controls:

WSAD/Arrows- driving

Space - collect sample

R - report back to NASA.

ESC - close game

Nice looking game, but physics seems to be broken a little.

A beautiful game. Great graphics, even if simple. Great backgrounds, sounds.
I've collected few samples, even if the rover sometimes struggled to go up hills. I guess this would be an intended difficulty factor, actually. Wasn't sure how the game ends, how does one fulfill the objective. So even if it didn't feel like a *game*, it was a great *experience*. Well done :)

There is a bug in Unity I wasn't aware of. Please lower the resolution if BLOOM is too big.

@QuantumZen
Thank you for opinion. Every LD I try to focus on 1 goal for my entry. Sometimes it is fun, sometimes innovation. This time it was experience, to feel the mood of beeing in space. I'm glad you enjoy it. And about the sounds.. some of them are NASA public domain sounds from Discovery mission. And that's how the game ends "Great Ending to a New Beginning" http://articles.latimes.com/1988-10-03/news/mn-2616_1_great-ending

Although this game is very simplistic, I had quite some fun racing over that planet. I wish the landscape would've been a little easier to explore (some hills are pretty steep!), the atmosphere, however, was great. Finally, I managed to fall from the surface.

I love this Game Although I Found It Hard To See Around And The Physics Are A Bit Broken, Keep Up The Good Work

I discovered it on youtube and gave it a shot - really nice!

Likes:
- Spirit and Opportunity were legendary. Thanks for this homage!
- beautifully dark world
- cool space samples and ambient sounds
- great use of depth of field rendering, game looks gorgeous on 3440x1440, the rover is slightly out of focus though :)

Try differently:
- consider leveling the camera follow a bit more, when going over rough terrain the screen really jumps a lot

Overall:
- pretty little game about the challenges of being a legendary exploration rover
- definitely deserves more plays :)

Cool game with a good implementation of visual effects for game made in jam!

I like the sound and sun rising effects of this game. They give excellent sense of presence on a distant asteroid. The idea itself fits perfectly and could be easily scaled to something bigger.

The camera jumps around and makes navigation difficult.

It would be nice to see the places I've already been, for example by tracks on the asteroid's surface

My progression: "Man, that's a lot of post-fx"… "cute robot" … "oooh, day and night cycle with solar charging!" … "hm, what do I do anyway?" "what's MRS-30?" … "I fell down a hole".
Cool game. Good mood.

Great background! I wish foreground elements could get some love too.

Really love day and night cycle and sound effects.

Exceptional mood overall, but navigation's a bit unresponsive.

The mood was awesome. You really made feel like I was on some different planet, picking up samples. Good job :)

Fun game !
The physics is a little bit tricky, but the graphics and the whole atmosphere are nice.

Good job :)
