Couldn't quite figure it out. I ended up holding 'w' until it finally told me I didn't have anything left to sacrifice.

I like the character model, reminds me of the original Alone in the Dark.

Nice graphics. It's got a very eerie feel to it. How do you do things with your potions?

I don't think I really understood this game. All I did (after two failed attempts of running to the side and into everlasting darkness) was holding W, which worked fine enough until a text informed me that I sacrificed my fuel. I kept holding w until it told me that I had nothing to sacrifice... Not really sure how the game is supposed to be played. The atmosphere with the torch light against the purple VFX of the entity was quite nice though.

Hahaha i died so many times. Your game needs some improvements, but its a good job for a game jam :)

Thanks for everyone's comments! Unfortunately there were some major bugs with the game that I wasn't able to fix in time, so it ended up being not very playable. I think we're gonna try and remake it though so that it actually works xD.
