After failing at the double river a few times I was ready to give up on our pompous hero, yet when I did manage to sacrifice myself I felt a tinge of pride. I believe it's the mark of a great game that it's able to evoke involuntary emotional responses like that, so well done!

Simple and tasteful, the music is good, makes you think that the prince is you, and not this narcissistic blond)

Good job, I like the idea of a puzzle solver where you're escorting a prince. The graphics didn't feel very cohesive and it was a little clunky, but I liked it.

This is a great idea for the 'sacrifice' theme. Instead of playing the heroic knight you play the squire who gives everything but still is not appreciated. The amount of interaction really keep you busy in different ways. Great game!

Neat idea given the theme! I wish the prince had >1 HP, so that I didn't have to start over after 1 arrow. Wonderful FPS counter!

Loved it! Nice commentary on the unsung heroes in these stories. The knight was such a dick, and Sam was such a hero. I would play a lot more of this game if the mechanics and challenges continued to develop. Great music and sounds. Fun graphics fit the tone of the game. Brilliant connection to the theme. Great job!

You sir made my day:) Got 5/5 from me:)...love the idea. Its easy to control and super fun. This is exactly I want from ludum dare games. And the epic final:) Only one little downside is, that I like to play more LD games in browser with no need dowloading them. So I can give you only this one little suggestion. Great job, keep coding:)

Amazing idea! As guys said above - if there was more to play, I definitely would! I also very much liked the mixed graphic style! Hell of a fun, sure wish there was more!

I love the idea! Very funny and well implemented. I felt that the player felt a bit slippery in their movement, but that's pretty common and they still felt quite controllable. The art was excellent too, particularly the background trees. Overall a lot of fun!

Very funny, and I liked the audio. I would definitely play a longer version of this game. If I had to nitpick, I would say tighten up the controls a little bit and maybe tweak the hit boxes on the arrows a little bit, but overall, this is pretty fun.

This game is fun to play, controls are explained during gameplay (which is great when possible), but still a bit of a challenge. Graphics are functional and fit the general mood. The variety of things you have to do steadily increases and when I finally got a game over screen I really appreciated the extra hint you get to improve on your next time. Overall very solid, well done!
