Kinoko no kagi by Préda
Kinoko no kagi = Key to the shroom
In this game you have to do quests for an old man. You have to search thru a house and give him the item he asks for. But as you only have 3 slots in your inventory you have to sacrifice some items to pick up new ones.
Changed:
•The position of the trader and the quest giver.
•A variable for the text box write speed.
•A bug where you could not see the ending.
•A game braking bug.
•Added a zoomed out version.

This was my first 2d game. And this was the first time we did pixelart.

you can @ me when you update the game
Some thoughts:
The levels seem quite large. It takes a long time to get from end to end with very little in between to interact with or look at.. I swept the level as best I could but I still feel like I may have missed something in the vast space in the middle of the room lol. I did Like the art and the music. They were very cute.
But yeah.... Zoom Out ! xD
I'm not a fan of the "go fetch items" games, but there's potential in the game!
* The camera is too zoomed in while the areas are vast and generally empty. It causes long stretches of monotony, in my mind. The very first level, a simple garden, is so massive that I tried my best to first explore it only to find... nothing interesting.
* The sign that should say "Quests" next to the old man is misspelled.
* The art style is neat.
* I like the premise and the mechanic of "sacrificing" items, even though I can see how it would get tedious for a lot of people, to be basically locked into a position of not progressing and having to restart all over (and, again, the massive areas with that level of zoom make that restart more tedious than fun).
Overall, I'd say a solid idea that could've used more polish.
